Buy Elder Scrolls Games

19 February 2011

Unfortunately, Bethesda no longer sells any of the older Elder Scrolls games (Arena, Daggerfall, Battlespire, and Redguard) and their official stance is that none of their games are available freely for download. So where exactly can you get these fabulous oldies? There are a few places left that you can often find second hand copies of thse games. Please let me know if you are aware of any other good places to find ES games.

Amazon
Perform a serach for Daggerfall or another specific ES game title that you are interested in. Most of the offers here are from second or bargain computer software stores and prices are pretty cheap.

E-bay
You can usually find many more ES games here and sometimes at very low prices, although you have less guaruntee of quality. Also be careful that you purchase the full game and not the game demo which is sometimes up for sale (why, I don't know).

Game Trading Zone
Lists a large number of people wishing to trade/sell their games. You can usually find a good number of Daggerfall editions listed, though Arena is significantly more rare.

Bethesda
Of course, all the latest ES games can be bought directly from Bethesda (currently sells only Morrowind and later games).

LloydsGames
Has the more recent Elder Scrolls games including Morrowind and Tribunal.
