"Any of you who want to go back to the Legacy- now's your chance," David said drawing his phaser.

Since noone responded, Lt. Commander Xetan moved to the entrance to the bridge, and placed a small explosive on it to open the door. "Stand back." she said.

After a second it exploded, and the door opened. What they saw: The three Ferengi were lying in the center of the room next to the captainns chair. The Reman that had been there previously, was now on the ground as well, hiding behind the Ferengi's bodies. The other five Remans were scattered at the various stations, all taking cover behind them, all armed with romulan phasers.

"Surrender!" Randon yelled, hoping the abruptness of his call would make them more likely to comply.

"I advise that we set phasers to stun. We may wish to take one for questioning."

"Disk, you may want to check your memory unit. The Commander already told us to put phasers on stun," Randon said.

"Humans are creatures. Driven by emotions. Maybe in anguish they may let their emotions overpower their logic and reasoning. I am just making sure."

The Remans did not heed Randon's call for surrender, and began firing. Xetan fired back, hitting the Reman at the helm. He fell back against the console, stunned by the shot.

Random fired his phaser at the closest Reman.

The Reman that had been in the captains chair was hit by Randons shot, and went down, stunned. However, before he got hitl, he managed to shoot Randon in his left shoulder.

Captain Shran paced the bridge, unable to sit still. "Commander, you gotta get out soon! The Remans are gonna be coming after us soon." he said into his commbadge.

Sure enough, the Remans were beginning to fire at the Legacy. However they were still to far out of range to do any real damage.

"Charge phasers! Prepare to return fire!" Shran yelled.

David looked to see how close the nearest Reman was.
"We here you Captain."

"Aaah!" Randon yelled as the energy beam hit him, burning a hole in his uniform and blackening the flesh below. "Let's go then!" he called to David.

Disk looked around for any enemies before firing his phaser.

The nearest enemy to David was to his right at a security station.

The nearest one to Disk was straight ahead of him at the operations terminal. He began firing at Disk, but obviously had had no training with Roulan weapons, so Disk was in no real danger of being hit.

Randon staggered back from the doorway, getting behind the rest of the away team. "You guys do what you want, but I'm getting back to the ship," he said. He pressed his badge and said, "One to beam up. Energize when ready."

Disk, unphased by the attack, calmly aimed and fired at the Reman.

David fired at the Reman.

Both attacks took down their respective targets. Randon was beamed directly to sickbay for the EMH to care for his injury. The two remaining Remans were beamed back to the Romulan ship.

Xetan ran over to the three Ferengi. They were all still alive, two of them seriously injured, the other just superficially. "Legacy, beam these three Ferengi to sickbay. Commander, whenever you are ready." she said, as the Ferengi disappeared.

The Romulan-now Reman- warbird was now within attacking range of the Legacy. "Fire!" yelled the Captain. "Commander! Get back here NOW!" The legacy shook as it was hit by the Reman attack. "Torpedoes, full spread. Fire when ready!"

They watched through the view screen as three of the torpedoes hit the warbird, ad caused several explosions along the lower decks.

Reports were just now coming in.

"How bad is it?" Randon asked the nearest physician.

"What is the nature of your medical emergency?" said the EMH, known as Doc, as he appeared. he lookedover at Randon. "Ah! Mr. Randon, so wonderful to see you. Let's see here..." he paused for a moment to grab his scanner. He ran it over Randon's injury a few times. "Nothing to worry about! Merely superficial." The doctor took his Dermal regenerator andmoved it over the wound. "All better!"

The Ferengi were now being beamed into sickbay, as well as several crewman injured in the attac by the Remans.

On the Bridge: "Captain! We have reports coming in from several decks. Decks 3-6 are reporting several injuries, 2 serious, the rest minor....." Jenkins went on to say that there were also a few damage reports, nothing too serious though.

"Beam the away team back now! Get as many Remans as possible, beam them to the brig, and let's get out of here!" The captain cried.

Soon, the away team was back safe ad sound, and the 4 Remans locked up in the brig.

"Alright Ensign, get us outta here." he said tp Razka.

The Legacy was soon out of range of the Remans, who were content to remain where they were, and lick their wounds.

"Cutting it a little close there Commander?"

"No such thing Captain," David replied, "Besides- we got some Remans to question out of it."

Shran chuckled at that. "Well, I'd say you four deserve a little break. Tomorrow, I want you an Commander Xetan to question the Remans, one at a time. Do whatever you need to to get the answers we need. But until then, good night Commaner. If you need anything, I'll be in my ready room."

With that Shran walked off the bridge, into his ready room. He sat at his desk, reading reports from the battle.

"Yes Captain," David said with a salute before turning away.

Disk was standing patiently beside Shan, waiting for permission to speak.
