When I attempt to make a signature, and put my Elder Stats card into the Sig to show the work i've put into my profile, it won't allow me too, keeps giving me this:



Why? A lot of people have images and URLs in their Signatures.
I activated my account... can't think of what else would be limiting me...

Any help is appreciated.

New users have some temporary, restricted privelages, as noted in the forum rules and FAQ as well as your welcome PM. When you have a post count of 10 and have been a member for a week, you get automatically moved to our "confirmed users" group, which allows you to upload an avatar and post links! It's an anti-spam measure that the UESP forums has.

I could of sworn Elder Stayts was on the trusted list...

I'm pretty sure only links from the UESP domain are allowed until you are a confirmed user, but I'll double check.

I read the rules, and even re read the signature rules, I can't believe I missed that.

There's not a trusted list. New users can't post any links as far as I can tell.

I think we should have one for the forums, then. For sites like Elder Stats or the Imperial Library.

That's not an option in phpBB. You either allow links or you don't.

And from what I see, no one seems to have ever thought people might like that feature... Oh well, I guess it is not that hard to get into the autoconfirmed group.
