Haha, maybe this would inspire me to get a capture card so I can record off my Xbox! Love the idea.

While I'm not convinced this idea is going anywhere, I will keep throwing out ideas.

I think that players should be given the option of good or evil routes, I haven't given much thought to how they would work but do think there should be a murder list of non-essential yet annoying NPC's for evil players. I suggest that Aerin, Nasem, Dirge, Heimskr and Nirya be on that list.

Another thought, given that Dawnguard and Hearthfire are only out on Xbox at the moment I suggest that this takes place using the vanilla game. Someone who uses mods on PC can decide what mods to allow.

I would handle what mods to allow, if we need that.

Cardbird and Gideon can argue decide what mods to allow for the PC players who take part.

I certainly think one of the challenges should be to acquire a set of sheild, helmet and armour for each hold's guards.

Some more random thoughts.

I think one of the locations to visit should include Faldar's Tooth good loot and loads of bandits. Also Bleak Falls Barrow, but I would only follow the main quest line until completing Dragon Rising to unlock dragons and shouts.

If we are going to do this we should probably get a small scouting group together to rate potential locations and quests, is anybody interested in joining me in this?

A thread or a Google Doc wouldn't be a bad idea. Go ahead and spearhead it, if you guys would like. Musicman and/or I can give you the official go-to.

That's not a bad idea, either.

Anything we want to do under the banner of UESP has to be done with extra love, because when you are doing something as UESP X or Y, you are representing the site, and we obviously want to share only our lovely parts with the world. Plus, you'd probably want to get wiki clearing and okays, too. But, things like a group somewhere else or a YouTube channel might be interesting, and it's definitely something to mention. After all, the world is full of lots of cool things!

We already have a UESP Steam account which is invite only. Youtube videos can be set to only be seen if you have the link, which we could post on the forums somewhere.


We are making progress on the Skyrim Multiplayer scheduled for November 10th & 11th. Stormborn had a great idea for a contest!

Wouldn't making the Youtube account public be more beneficial for the UESPF advertising-wise?

Depends on the quality of the content. Everything would have to be approved by the Mods as well, I would think.

Don't forget: UESP isn't just the forum. Flying under that name, you have to make sure you uphold a certain standard.

Not being exclusive, but we have very much cheap all around. I think the somewhat archaic outlook and expression of UESP is a benefit. It also suits TES games very well. Let's not try to get too popular.

We just can't get partnership, due to the fact Youtube would beat us up with Copyright strikes if we tried to monetize one of the videos. We could probably have someone do the mobile phone thing to allow us to have longer then 15 minutes, though.

I think the forums would get significantly uglier if everybody started using a really tall signature image. For the contest, could we maybe have a size limit, like, a valid entry should be at most 100 px tall?

I am not trying to say that Unionhack's entry is ugly, btw. I just think it would be really irritating to add that much height to a lot of people's posts.

I'm absolutely in agreement. Something very narrow and thin is the only way to go. A lot of signatures around here have way too much stuff in them anyway.

I could shrink it. Just give me a dimensions requirement.
I want to make a better one anyway.
