Is it true that Avron holds the real power behind the entire UESP and everyone is her minons?

Is it true that Musicman forces you to play strip poker?

Do you all have different ban weapons or just have a banhammer?

Is this thread a semi serious one where silly questions are allowed?

Should I leg it if that is not the case?

Yes, although Musicman is slowly leeching it away from her. And I'm doing the same to him.

He doesn't force us. We want to.

All have different weapons. For example, I employ the use of both a banhammer, and a spamhammer. Oh, except Matt. He just bites things.

This thread is in fact meant to be semi-serious, but we allow the odd silly question, for the lulz.

You should definitely GTFO right now.

Before I get the flesh out of here, I have just a few more questions.

If a user is being an utter troll and is insulting everyone or being racist etc.. and a Mod is not online, and it is derailing the thread in such as way that it's hard to ignore, can we backseat mod?

Is it true Avron is actually Arvel the S'wit?

If a mod accidentally deletes a thread, can it be undone?

Why are the tea party mods pink? Why not black? Or orange or another colour? Also, do they get to have tea parties or is it a trap?

What happens if a mod is reported? Does that mod self mod and get into an argument or does lord S'wit and Lady Music deal with it?

I can answer that one. You can backseat Mod, but report the post to a Mod and/or send them a PM too, oh and don't use a colour- if you want to be eye-catching, just bold it.

Backseat modding is never encouraged. That being said, if a thread is getting off topic, you can definitely post something on topic to try and bring it around. Directly confronting trolls without the power to do anything is never a good idea.

Arvel the Swift is a devious guy who comes on every once in a while to try and ruin Avron's reputation.

Deletions cannot be undone. That's why we rarely do it.

I'm pretty sure the TPM question has been answered in this thread before.

Global Mods moderate globally.

How heavily would you say you enforce behavior in the various sub-forums? As in, comparing say, this sub-forum to Roleplays.

Moderators attempt to treat all subforums equally to the best of their abilities - a difficult job with any subject at any time, frankly.

How much time does a moderator spend on the UESP?
How frequently do they check individual threads?

Let me answer that: not enough.

GET BACK AT IT, BOYS and/or GIRLS! I don't discriminate.

Depends on the mod. Some have more free time than others, and can dedicate more time to the forum. That is why we have a big team.

Most mods spend a lot of time here...so remember to be nice and thankful for the time served.

As for checking threads, we have preferences for topics and games, and so we look where we want to. Our system does alert us to reports and areas of concern - that way we can look everywhere!

Why is necroposting generally frowned upon, while making a similar new thread is a better option?

Necroposts are allowed on a case-by-case basis, as stated in the forum rules. If they are made to continue the conversation then we allow them. If they are made just to post something, we would prefer they not be made. If the post is related, but different in some way we may ask the member to create a new thread to explore a new side to the discussion.

Rule of thumb - check with the Mods before necroposting or creating a new thread about an old subject.

I've noticed that the amount of times that a post has been edited notification doesn't show up anymore, why is that?

I believe Musicman should change his name to Fluffykiins. Does he agree?

Why is there not a Nercopost option in the report option? As that is fairly common. I suspect most of the stuff i report is nercoposters.

The edit notification still shows up, but not for Mods, nor if your post is the last in a thread.

Check my status.

There is not a nercopost option because that is not a word. There is, however, now a Necropost option in the report field. Thanks for the suggestion!

Calling the S'wit Floppykiins will result in a kitten to the face. Proceed at your own caution. 8)

Like MM said, your post will only reflected the "Edited: # of times" if it is followed by a newer post. This is to let you know that a post you previously read was changed. Moderators do not have this, but we can also add an editing reason to let you know why we changed your post. We also tend to PM you. :D
