Right now, there seems to be something wrong with the Active Topics button, at least for me.

Can i get a list of what's been changed? i haven't noticed anything different

@Nyk: Same here. It only shows the Forum Competitions, Gatherings and Ideas thread.

This must be a general problem. Good news for the competitions, though!

The forums were upgraded from phpBB3 3.0.5 to 3.0.8. So basically both those things.

After a bit of googling, I think the issue is fixed by manually setting every forum to show up in Active Topics.

I've set all forums (except the archives) to display in the active topics list now. The upgrade was just to keep up to date with the latest phpBB release. I didn't check the changes in features but I would guess there is no significant changes from a use/performance perspective.

I get the idea with the active topics being displayed there, but they could be:
a) Moved below the sub-forums menu.
b) Take out stickies and show less threads.

Dunno if either's possible.

All general forums where merged into one for me.....

Because I haven't had time to do it (and Daveh didn't know it was being added). I want to get it on the default skin, it was one of the reasons we upgraded.

But in the mean time, I wanted to make people aware that it was an option already.

Prior to that, we were averaging 4-5 new members a day... now, nothing. Coincidence? I am begining to think not.

I tried to register a new account today. Mr Steel, and had several issues with the the Authentication Code. It told me almost 10 times, that I entered the wrong Code, which I knew I did not. Then at about the 10th time, it did not say it was the wrong Code, but it also did not change to another page either. It was stuck on the page were you enter your username, password, & e-mail. I have yet to get a confermation e-mail, although it has only been about 30 minutes since. I am not sure how long it normally takes for the confirmation e-mail.

I was also told when I tried to log in on this account, Jeff, that I had exceeded the number of attempts, which is not the case, as the message was on my first attempt to log in as Jeff, and had to enter the Authenticatin Code, which it did take for that.

It may not be to odd for there to be no new members to register... although with Skyrim announced, that has not been the case... but I have not known a bot to not regester for a whole week.

It is also impossible to vote in polls, as can be seen here or here (if you haven't voted yet).

Yeah, there are definitely some issues associated with the upgrade, and I'm writing an e-mail to Daveh.

For the moment, I've turned off captcha for registration. We might get a few spambots, but we'll be okay.

What are you guys seeing when you vote?
I just voted in Jeff's thread and the TPM thread.
I see that my votes registered, but also that no one else has voted.
