Well, it's working for me now. Not sure why it is only effecting certain people at certain times, no word back from the admin though.

Never seems to work for me. It shows a random page, but when I press it again, it just shows the same page.

Not quite sure where to put this, but the random feature on the wiki doesn't seem to work. The other day it would only go to the page on Aichan, and today it only goes to Adanibi Grotto. I don't see how this could be my computer/browser, but then I don't see how the wiki could've been screwed with either. Just thought I'd mention it.

Mine gets stuck on Morrowind:Endurance. Yawn. Not even a fun page in any way.

My random button works perfectly fine.

I had a similar issue yesterday when I was browsing through some topics...I'm now more familiar with Meralyn Othan's page than I ever wanted to be and never actually got to what I was looking for

I've had a lot of issues with UESP lately, mainly with logging. Some problems... I'm sure they work it out.

But good of you to come out with it, Jedi Taters. That way people know they're not alone.

To avoid a triple topic, I'll lock this.

If you're not logged in to the site, you will get the cached version of the page. That means that you get the same version of Special:Random over and over again. If you're logged in you should get a different page every time.

I use the Random Page feature quite often just to see if there's anything that I can randomly improve. It doesn't appear to be perfect because I often see the same page crop up and others never appear, but that's just the way random number generators work.

If you're logged in to the site and still get the same page over and over again, it's almost certainly your browser, your router or your ISP doing some caching. The function definitely works.

The only page I'm getting from the random page button atm is "Lore: Frontier, Conquest". This has been happening since yesterday

Try logging in/creating an account. According to rpeh it should work then.

I just got a message informing me of vandalism ("posting nonsense") that I committed. The two edits that were listed for the IP in question were for a page about the wiki I had never seen before, and the other for a talk page about a subject I'm not interested in. And then I realized: my IP is completely different from the one that I got warned about.

So, what is this? More bugs in the wiki software, like the random page?

Just noticed we have two topics, so I merged them.

Things like that happen to me sometimes. Occasionally, I'll be notified about one or two edits that I've supposedly made, even though I've never edited the wiki once in my life.

random page has been bugged for a while now too.

You don't receive warnings randomly. If you got a warning it's because you're logging in as an IP that has previously been warned.

This just happened again.

We're having problems here too, I just posted my newest one!!! And, I've been getting a lot more spam lately to my personal e-mail... not nice.
