What about Bubblekiins? Flappykiins?

I could have sworn it doesn't show up for me of late as i swear i've seen posts that have been edited but doesn't display the notification. That said, i'm probably being a right S'wit and the notifications are working.

Greetings Vahki Moderators! I have an inquiry on how one would properly use the following bit of code.
Code:
[align=][/align]

Thank you in advance for your robot-like seriousness assistance in this matter.

If I make a post, then edit it before a new post is made in the same thread, will the edit show up as a new post?

If you mean will it make the little page orange, then yes.

If you mean will it make the edit an actual new post, causing a double post, then no.

Huh. I finally understand why double posts are discouraged: They're unnecessary. I'm actually going to consider not doing it anymore.

Exactly. You don't see the change because you've seen the new post. It doesn't bump the topic up the list, but it will show up as a new post and will even bump the topic up in the Active Topics list.

I hope it's okay that I've replied, even though I'm not a moderator.Image

You can delete posts? I'm learning a lot today :p. Smart solution, too (if you consider it a problem, that is, which I don't :p).

You can only delete your post if it's the last one in the thread.Image

Isn't there also a button to allow you to bump the thread? That way you could edit your post and then bump it without double posting or deleting and reposting?

Yes, there is a bump button that becomes available to the thread starter after 10 days of inactivity that bumps the topic to the top of the sub-forum.

Thanks, MM! :sweetroll:

Edited to avoid double post: How long does it take for the Mod Squad to review a report once it has been sent and what kind of process, if one is used, do you guys use for reviewing reports?

This might be a really late response because I don't know when you edited the post, but here goes:
Between all of us, the queue gets checked several times per day. If it's something simple like a double post, the mod will just take care of it and close it. If it's something not so easy, we'll post about it to the other mods in order to get some more input on it, and decide together on how to proceed.

Alarra is correct, but to give the answer in a time-frame.

Easy-fix (double post etc) 5 minutes (from when a Mod checks the reports)

Hard-fix (Controversial picture/post/topic etc) several hours, or possibly more than a day. This is because the Mods are spread out over more than one time-zone, so for a full discussion we generally like to give each Mod a chance to give their input before acting.

When u pm someone from their post in a thread, ive noticed that when u send the message it says a date/time that it was sent, but then it is present in the outbox. Also it doesnt seem to be in the sent folder.

Has the message sent? Does it only appear in the sent folder once the recipient has opened the message? I am confused.

The message is only in the sent box once they've opened it.

Justice is correct. PMs stay in your Outbox until they have been read, then they move to the Sent folder.

I was wondering, to what would exactly happen if I choose to "Delete all board cookies" on the index page?

I mean.. the Beta loves cookies.. who would ever want to have their delicious crumbs deleted from existence >_< unless of course they're riddled with oatmeal raisin.. then too the void they go

You'll be logged out, and if you had "Log me in automatically" checked, it won't work until you check it and log in again.
I had also assumed that the little image on the left of each section/thread that changes colors depending on whether there's new posts since your last visit would be changed, but upon actually trying it, that doesn't seem to be the case.

The Roleplay forum only has Musicman(Offically) to approve roleplays and he is doing an excellent job but when a report is made from that forum, what happens behind the doors? Do the mods have to ask him what to do or does he handle it when he gets time to? I'm just curious and it's not related to the recent stuff.

Also, what's the punishment for shutting down a Mod and installing hardcore MLP stuff?

And how much time should pass before a post is deemed not worth dealing with if it's been report? Again, i'm just curious.
