When I use the mobile version of the forum, it won't let me edit my signature at all. Might be a bug in the software.

When I use the desktop version of the forum, I can edit my signature just fine but not on the mobile version.

On the mobile version, when I edit my signature and hit "preview" or "submit", it just brings my old signature back. It doesn't save it.

I'm assuming that's a bug in the software?

I'm just making you aware of it in case it's a bug.

Thanks

I've noticed that as well. It comes back with a "too many characters" error, even if the signature is left unchanged. I'll look into it. I'm guessing it's the formatting of the style on that page that is to blame.

Quick update: It seems like the BBCode parser is not working correctly on that page. If you press the Preview button you'll see a colon and then a string of numbers and letters within each end section of BBCode.

Thanks Musicman.

I haven't noticed anything unusual when I clicked Preview or Submit other than the fact it doesn't save. You must be seeing something I'm not.

But then again, your the one looking at the software on the server.

Did this ever get fixed? I hate going to the desktop site on my phone just to change my sig. I only have my phone to use for the internet for now. :s

You need only change the sig once.

I'm the kind that would change his signature more than once if I want to change or add something.

I haven't found a solution yet. I'll keep trying, though.

Thank. Have you checked for a solution at the phpbb website? Or is this not related to phpbb?

I don't know if the mobile forum is made by phpbb or not. Right next to the words phpBB Mobile at the bottom, there's the name Artodia. I have no clue who that is.
