I've noticed some post show they've been moved and the one I'm mentioning now is old and probably doesn't matter much, but I'm curious.

What do you do when you find a post that's in the wrong forum?

Most often its a result of users posting threads in the wrong subforum, either by mistake or disregard. Staff always have the means to move threads from subforums, or even merge existing threads

Also while I personally cant confirm it, but the forum hasnt always been so structured so its always possible that old threads got forgotten in transition when their subforum was changed/renamed, and just never got addressed. Its a good explanation, but its purely a theory

You could try using the "Report this post" button (the red exclamation mark); the default reason for reporting a post is "Wrong sub-forum".
