 Post subject: Crushing, persistent bug. Never before documented?

ES Games: daggerfall, morrowind, oblivion

The bug: When resting, in town or otherwise, hundreds of humanoid attackers spawn on the same spot, crashing the game. Once this starts happening, it always happens eventually.

Details: I am a lycanthrope, wereboar. Wearing Hircine Ring. Haven't received a letter warning of imminent attack lately. Bug always seems to occur at higher levels (15+). Clean full install of DaggerfallSetup on an XP system, no other mods or editors have touched it.

I can find no evidence anywhere that anyone has ever had this bug before, but I just can't escape it and it's ruining the game for me.

Edit: Other details. Moderate rank in Dark Brotherhood. Lowest rank in Fighter and Mage guilds. Playing a custom class. No active quest.

Bug does not occur while resting on the deck of my ship.
Bug does occur inside ship, inside fighters guild, inside inn, and in wilderness.

When it manages to give a code, that code is error 110.

I wonder if spamming huge numbers of cheap but long duration buffs to gain skill is breaking something. If I've never had several days worth of a spell in effect on me, this doesn't seem to happen.

Moar Edit: Yeah I'm almost certain it was the spells. Gotta remember to not leave the duration of cheapo spam-spells at the default 1+1 per level. By level 15+ with 300+ mana the duration just stacks up to infinity eventually.

Nope that isn't it either. Still corrupting. I give up, [&@%!] this game.
