He's definitely the tankiest I've seen, I've played with some GREAT Salvador players and some REALLY bad ones. The great ones usually know how to 'tank' as well as you can do in Borderlands.

It's like a damn dream of mine to be in a group with a tanky Salvador, a heal-y Maya, and a sniper Zero. With my Mechy handling close quarter stuff, I think that'd be an incredible group to roll with.

GODDAMNIT! If i could spare the damn data, i would co-op with you, Union. Granted, i would be very low level and liable to accidentally crash cars as a joke but if i can sort out my net and B2 is still live on PS3, i would suggest having a UESP borderlands squad to stick it to Handsome Jack and Butt Stallion.

True. But once i've turned Salvador from squishydor that can get killed by bandits to a death dealing one man gunzerking army that is the toughest SOB to grace Pandaro since Brick, i'll be ready.

I forgot to grab my skill tree layout, but I brought pictures of Vesper (my mechromancer!)'s guns. She's level 67 so it's about time to start replacing, but it's gonna kill me to do so because I adore this setup.

Consummate Florentine: This is my fight-starter, a beautiful SMG that simultaneously inflicts slag and shock damage. My mechromancer is built around dealing boatloads of shock damage and taking advantage of slag, and this does both!

Practicable Conference Call: This shotgun is bar-none by absolute favorite gun in any video game ever made and the day I finally lay it to rest will be the day a part of my soul dies. It fires what is basically a wall of electric shotgun shells, each one of them having a chance to trip my shock effects and dealing a crapload of damage. With my ricocheting shots boosted by anarchy, the Conference Call can clear a room in seconds.

Trick Shot Unkempt Harold: A pistol that fires off a bunch of exploding pellets. I think it has natural ricochet built in, which is great because I believe that factors into my ricochet ability as well. It's great for taking out multiple small-time enemies or crystalisks.

Ferocious Shredifier: This is the most expensive gun I have for some reason, valued at just over a million bucks. It's the low point of my arsenal, but that's a high standard and it's actually a terrific gun. It covers my need for corrosive damage because that's the only element I can't inflict through my skill trees.

There's my arsenal, in all its irrepressible glory! Love it, die by it, because it sure as hell keeps me alive in UVHM.

Also, can a mod try re-titling the thread to just "Borderlands" or something? The joke is cool and everything, but that's not what a topic title is for.

Ya know, now I'm really getting itch to play borderlands 2 again.. But I really don't wanna start from scratch >_> both bc of my lovely assassin. But also.. I don't want to go back through that torturous hell of wanting needing to collect every unique gun and getting the absolute best. Just... No... I can't do it... It's worse than the stress Morrowind gives me bc every quest/event must be done in a pre-planned order or else something will get buggered up(i.e conflicting questlines)

If you still have the platform you played it on and the original save you used, you can use the save transfer function.

Or try a different class! I honestly couldn't really jive with the assassin. He was too straightforward. I like my Borderlands classes to be nice and obtuse.

I think your misunderstanding what I said. It's not that I don't have the old save, but what's the point of replaying a finished game when most of the fun was from starting fresh

But them guns tho.... Them guns....

I should just skip the issue and play the Presequal already

Ahhh, okay. I mean, there's always Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, and it can be repeated.

I got like 15 minutes into the Pre-Sequel and got bored tbh

Is it that bad? Or is it just not Borderlands 2 levels of fun?

It's not bad, it's just not to the level of BL2. TPS was made by their Australian studio I believe, not the main Gearbox team, and while that didn't jeapordize the game quality like a certain Mass Effect sequel, the little things kinda show.

Like, the new mechanics they introduce on the outset include low gravity, lack of air on the moon, having to pick up oxygen, etc are touted as features, but they really don't add anything but tedium. Jumping puzzles suck and so do free-flying items in a game where there are many pitfalls, death traps, and inaccessible areas.

Running across Liar's Berg was never that bad because it was chock-full of [&@%!] to fight. It was satisfying to kill stuff because the intro is saturated with stuff to do. The first bout on Elpis takes forever because you have to jaunt around in low gravity, without a goddamn vehicle, for several zones. I just don't think that's fun, and I don't think low gravity works in Borderlands.

Maybe I just need to give it more time, but I don't think I like it very much. It's a good game, sure, it's almost impossible for it not to be when it's got the BL formula. But is it a good Borderlands? I dunno. It's hard to beat BL2 after all.

Ya. The original borderlands for me got pretty dull at times, especially a certain claptrap DLC. So I mean, TPS can't be worse? I already know it ain't no Borderlands 2 >_> the lack of DLC and variation of locations sort of hints at that fact
