Dark Souls III.

Most devastating moment so far? Some guy wearing an onion helmet double crossed me. Will I ever learn how to love again?

A full playthrough of the Fallout franchise; an experiment where I take the same character through all the games and see how the experience changes from title to title. One character is a NG tanky heavy armor Melee/Heavy Guns/Speech dudebro, and for a radically different experience, the other character is an evil raider Sneak/Steal/Small Guns fellow. Never went full bad karma in Fallout; should be interesting.

Also following the ongoing woes of Fallout 76 with an odd mix of satisfaction and detached amusement.

Started Red Dead Redemption 2 last night, though I downloaded it at launch. Just haven't had the time until now.

Been trying out several of the games I got for free from Xbox gold/games pass.
Ori and the Blind Forest is good; getting tricky now though so a bit frustrating.
Human Fall Flat is quite fun but I don't see it being something I'll play that much.
Never Alone was too basic; doubt I'll go back to that again.
Started qube 2; I'm liking this. Intriguing and a fun problem solver.

Idk whats on the game pass, or what you currently have as free, but what kind of games do you normally go for?

I usually go for problem solving and indie games, mostly.
My previous downloads have been stuff like The Bridge (spatial PS), Rime (world puzzle/PS), Unmechanical, The Witness, including those listed above.
I rarely go for FPS and other action games.

You would maybe like games like Limbo and Inside

There is always the Portal franchise if ya dont mind moving away from the Indie scene, and if that hits your mark you may even warm up to the Half Life series

>_> you may also like subnautica. Its very open world-survival, with a dash of story and objectives. But its certainly something you could spend a long time playing

That's funny, I was just looking at Subnautica today. It does look good.

Limbo looks creepy af and quite high tension.
Inside looks good too though. Was hoping one of them might be on Games Pass but no.

I've played Portal and Portal 2 a couple of times already. qube reminds me of those games.

I played some of Half Life 2. It was fun for a while but less so my cup of tea.

Thanks for the recommendations!

Been playing a lot of Metal Gear of late but I'll do my usual thoughts on it post later on.

Borderlands 2 is what has my attention(alternating between MGSV and this). It's the GOTY edition and I am playing as Gaige. It is freaking awesome!

Borderlands 2 is a great shooter RPG with loot being the focus and gruesome. Melting people, blowing them into gibs etc... Gaige's style is bloody silly and I love it. Essentially, with the anarchy and richot perks, you literally don't need to aim and just spray everything in sight. It may or may not be allowing me to unleash my inner Revolver Ocelot and I may or may not be having a bit too much fun messing around with it. Deathtrap is just a nice bonus. I cannot wait to get the claws so I can partially unleash my inner predator/wolverine. I only realised that slow weapons are bad for gaige thus explaining my deaths. More or less restarted as it bugged me. Now? Pistols, assault rifles are my primary weapons and the sniper is for distance kills. I'm not even aiming with the faster weapons. I am literally doing stormtrooper firing. Only, I am killing stuff. With Gaige, basically, her anarchy perk allows you to inflict more damage at the cost of accuracy if you do not reload. Just empty the clip or magazine and watch it build up. She also goes insane at a certain amount. She is easily my favourite PC of the Borderland series. HAte that her echos aren't in the game or the wanted poster is either. But tis fun.

Tyranny, Shadowrun Returns trilogy plus fan campaigns, soon to be Torment: Tides of Numenera. On a real party RPG kick at the moment.

Planetside 2 for a multiplayer/competitive outlet.

Red Dead Online just put out a new update that gives you careers and a pet dog that hangs around your camp, so I've been putting the six-shooters to use of late.

Yes, it's Cassie as a time-traveling cow-creature.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker. An epic-scale D&D type adventure with empire building elements. Very enjoyable, but a real slog. Playthrough is at 130 hours and it feels like just the mid point of the story.

I know it's boring to say so, but ESO PTS. I don't want to spoil it, but it's very good. Also the KFC dating game.

A MAN OF INTELLECT

My friends and I started it together. We had people texting us from the room over saying that we were too loud because we were narrating so enthusiastically.

Maggot Baits. Kantou's Pandemonium is... Imagine Coldharbour, but not toned down for T or even M rating.

Not playing it right now. But for people who love the ES concept of CHIM: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:CHIM Of reaching heaven by violence. I suggest reading Dies Irae and learning the concept of a Hegemony God: https://shinzabansho.fandom.com/wiki/Hegemony_God To say nothing of the parallels that I draw between the Dark Brotherhood and the LDO https://shinzabansho.fandom.com/wiki/Lo ... zehn_Orden
