Ah what an amazing game :D My question: What was your favourite playstyle? Character/Class/Build/Party/Choices etc. etc. Personally mine had to be an archer. Human noble to be exact :) Mainly Dex build to deal obscene amounts of damage in the mid game. Fav party was Me(Obviously), Morrigan, Alistair and Wynne. had such a great feel to it :3

I love Dragon Age: Origins so much. I love playing as a City Elf Warrior with Morrigan, Shale and Leliana/Zevran. I use a sword and shield combo. I hope 3 will be better than 2. 2 was just mediocre a real let down.

My favourite characters are Morrigan and Alistar by far. The romance with Morrigan is good and Witch Hunt gives it a great end.

The considerate, but not die-hard goodie-two-shoes Elf Mage was always my favourite. Romanced Morrigan and
Spoiler:
ran away from the world through the Eluvian with her.

Favourite party:
Me, Morrigan, Sten, Lels.

Yes DA:2 was a massive let down for me :( Tis a shame as they could have done so much to that game. And my fave romance was probably with morrigan too :) Was so nice to see that stubborn young cow go all "lovey-dovey" on me. Plus i wanted her babiez but that's beside the point xD

Lovie-dovey? I think you're not thinking of Morrigan then.

Dragon Age is awesome. I have such fond memories of Shale.

Oh shale...one day we'll eliminate those pesky birds :P Unfortunately i never found him more useful than some characters and so he never made it into my party most of the times :( Perhaps i will try to fit him in my current playthrough :D

Aye I did that too.

I'm looking forward to getting the Baldur's Gate games. I'm getting them in the summer when I finish Secondary School.

Love this game and everything it brought to the fantasy genre. My mage had a lot of fun with Zev, Morrigan and Sten in tow. Took in Zevran as a flaky sleaze and trained him up into a devoted lover.

The complex backstories, superb character development and real life grittiness were the things DA:O offered that Oblivion simply did not at the time.

Haha It really was one of the best RPG's i've seen in a long time. It brought something completely new to the table :P

Awakeing was also really good.

Pretty much all DLC's were good in my opinion. They all added a little extra to what we already loved :D

Someone get Tourist in here.

I've played none of the DLC except for Witch Hunt, even though I own all of them.

It was a great game, wasn't it? I only played through it once, but I have to say it's one of the finest story-driven RPGs ever, possibly the best since Baldur's Gate.

I was a human mage, concentrating on storm-based nuking and character control. I prestiged to Arcane Warrior (mostly to give me the defense necessary to survive as a front line fighter- I liked to get right in to the thick of things) and Spirit Healer (for passive bonuses; I never trained much in healing spells and buffs). By the end of Awakening, I was a master Arcane/Battlemage, decked out like a knight, capable of lying down crowd control spells and locking up boss monsters before wading into the middle of the maelstrom and cleaving everybody apart with full battle auras blazing. Fraking awesome.

I didn't have a favorite party; I was actually really good with switching out my NPCs. They were all so darn interesting, I felt like I had to get a full dose of roleplaying out of all of them. Lels was (and still is) my favorite NPC, hands down: she's total waifu material, possibly the best waifu in RPG history. In fact, DA3 could consist of a single room with Lels and maybe Cassie sitting in a corner, staring at the wall, for hours and hours on end, and I'd still buy it. If I had to pick another one or two, I guess it'd be Alistair and Morrigan. Least favorite NPC was that Dalish [&@%!] from Awakenings; I never took her in my party, opting to slaughter her instead (sort of like how I dealt with the furry in KotoR).

Ohh, Origins feels like such a long time ago.

I played a human warrior noble, I don't recall much about what she was like on the battlefield but I had a wonderful triangle thing going on with Zevran and Alistair. In the end I married Alistair and kept Zevran on as a lover. Divines bless mods! Image

You just described my first playthrough :L Mage was probably the most fun class with all the different varieties of development.

I like just taking direct control of Morrigan in combat.

Great game indeed, I only finished it once. My character was a warrior. Regular human.

One of my favorite characters, apart from Morgan and Alistair (which 99% of the players like) is the Qunari. Sven, isn't it? Some of his lines (especially in the "rescue" quest are damn funny). :P

Sven can be pretty funny but I never used him much :( I still haven't found that *special* character yet which should be interesting. One of my fave characters has to be the dwarf (name?). He's just funny being drunk all the time xD

It's Sten! Image
Which happens to mean rock in Swedish.

He was one of my faves, mostly because the interesting conversations you could have with him, the Qunari are fascinating people. It would've been very interesting to see how a romance with him would work, I was rather disappointed when I realized he wasn't available.

Dammit, I loved this game so much...
I played as a city elf rogue, and I 'romanced' Alistair...
Spoiler:
By which I mean, I let him walk away for being such a stubborn ass about Loghain. Who I let sacrifice himself.

I usually used Alistair, Leliana, and Morrigan in my party. Zevran, too, a bit.
My favourite party member was actually probably Velanna from Awakening.

Yeah, Sten! I haven't played this game in a long time. Tryed to finish it twice but got bored of my 2nd character. :(

Spoiler:
I'm in Orzammar with him.

Might come back to that playthrough when I feel like it.

My party was Alistair, Morrigan and Leliana but sometimes I picked Sten, the Mabari Hound and the Dwarf.

Wynne and Zevran were kinda useless, imo.

Wynne was so useless never use her. Morrigan can do the healing and isn't an idiot who thinks the circle is a good thing.

How can you say wynne is useless?!?! D: A party with her AND morrigan can be unstoppable! have wynne focus on keeping your tank buffed and alive with tactics 1st and then the rest of the party 2nd. Have morigan focus complete on damage output and debuffing the enemies.-_- I am disappointed people!
