Why thank you for reading this message.
I have the two original Elder Scrolls games via Bethesda's freeware. I haven't touched DOSBOX, ever, and thanks to Ancestral Ghost, I still haven't. Neato. However, unless I'm incorrect, Battlespire is not freeware. Therefore, I'd have to scour amazon or some such to get a physical copy. My computer, however, is running on Windows XP, and I'm sure it doesn't support DOSBOX, or whatever archaic program is needed. I'm wondering exactly what I would have to do to play this game, without hair tearing compilations.

Would it be like using an emulator?
On that note.... aren't emulators illegal?

Ah, well thank you for the response, I guess I'd have to use DOS either way then.

Watch out when buying Battlespire. The game is really buggy and plays more like the classic game, uses sprites 'n' everything. Also watch out out the character creation screen. There is some nudity on it.

Yeah, I've seen it, looks similar to Daggerfall.

Also, I think there are patches for the game that be found on the wiki. You might want to check there if you have more questions too.
