While Studying High Elves Lore and their Religion, I stumbled on the following Sentence:

"Typically an Altmer would be horrified at the notion of summoning creatures from Oblivion, as you are correct they follow the divines. There's even a quest somewhere in Valenwood I think where an Altmer states that his people never dabble in summoning creatures from Oblivion as it's seen as fundamentally wrong. However, that's not to say it never happens; and in fact the Altmer are credited with being the first to fully master the craft of controlling daedric summonings. It's really going to depend on your character, but if you're generalising Altmer society then daedric summoning and daedra worship = very bad."

I would really desire to Roleplay an Altmer that is very Traditional in his usage of Magic. This would prove quite challenging since I play at Maximum Difficulty and the Summons allowed are quite diminished:
(No Atronachs, Scamps, Daedras, Golden Saints, Ogrims, Winger Twilights, Hunger, Clanfears or Daedroths).

I also believe that Summoning Undeads would not be too lore friendly either since High Elves praise their Ancestors.

What do you make of this dilemma, should an Altmer rely primarily on Noble Schools of Magic or should he allow himself to Summon Daedric Beasts?

It seems you put more weight on previous installations of lore than Bethesda or Zenimax have anyway (Refer to Lord Naarafin). I credit you for at least recognizing it let alone choosing to abide albeit in an rp manner
