Greetings all Elder Scolls lore Sages.

I'm looking to run an Elder Scrolls campaign via Virtual Table Top using the terrific fan-made adaptation to the Savage Worlds RPG. I'm admittedly not the best at storing setting background in my head these days and I run a number of RPG campaigns. So I sometimes get details crossed up, or just forget them. I'm also far from being the most versed in ES lore, despite being a big fan of the series and having played ES 3, 4 & 5 multiple times.

I currenlty own the 3 Sybex strategy guides for ES 3, 4 & 5, but only the GOTY edition guide for 3. I also have the 2 novels by Brian Keyes, but they seem to be light on lore -are they even considered canon?
I've noticed that there's now the The Elder Scrolls Online - Volumes I & II: The Land & The Lore books. While those sound like they could provlide me all the info I'm lookin for, having never even browsed them in a book store I have some concens about how reliable or accurate they are? That's mostly due to me noticing some contraditions in some of the lore when I played ESO, in terms of what was stated previously in ES games. It's been a good 4 years since I played onlie, so I no longer could point out specific examples - just that at the time I noticed. If I'm wrong about that though, or the in-game lore has been cleaned up, please correct me abouy that.

So...I"m looking for recommendations as to what the best sources for ES canon and lore are, whether that be on the Internet or in print?
And if anyone could comment on the quality and accuracy of the ESO 2 volume book set, I'd appreciate hearing it.
