Ok, so this involves some pretty heavy meta knowledge relating to both D&D, Pathfinder and Elder Scrolls so bare with me. It is semi confirmed that D&D, Pathfinder, and Call pf Cthulhu exist within the same multiverse. Specifically, knowledge gained from Pathfinder and Starfinder reference a "Dragon Galaxy" that is hinted to be the galaxy where Spelljammer (And by proxy all of D&D) takes place. The worlds of D&D adhere to the same cosmic layout as Nirn, and in fact when you examine the cosmology of Elder Scrolls it looks VERY much like a typical Dragon Galaxy universe or "Sphere."

In short, given that Elder Scrolls may once have been a D&D campaign, and given the similarity of the cosmology of Nirn and, say, Krynn, what is the likelihood that Tamriel exists within the Dragon Galaxy? And before you mention it NO, I am not asking if a Spelljammer/D&D crossover would be appropriate. Many worlds within the Dragon Galaxy are completely inaccessible to or from the Phlogiston.

As a theory, I wouldn't knock it. In my headcannon, quite a few realities coexist, maybe all of them. In this particular instance, I don't think it would be very wrong to explain Nirn and the happenings of this universe as a descendant or possible future of those other dimensions. The next cycle, perhaps, or a past echo. The waking dream of a realm that should not have been forgotten.
