A month ago I made a post about Redguard Mages who fled Hammerfell. I could not remember their name. I have found it. According to lore. It is forbidden to speak of this group/tribe. They are called the Exiled Sons of Numaneh. I assume the reason it is forbidden to speak of them was that they were Necromancers. Which is a big no-no for Redguards? What could be worse?

I'm glad you found it! After your first post I looked through the lore books about Redguards and the Alik'r Desert, but couldn't find anything.

Here is the only reference to the subject on the wiki; the correct name of the group is the Exiled Sun-Eaters of Numaneh.

The only thing I found that seemed even remotely relevant was a reference to the Blackcaster Mages Guild, except they were Imperials and weren't outcasts as far as I know.

The weird thing about the loremaster's comment about the Exiled Sun-Eaters of Numaneh is that the only reference to "Sun-Eaters" I can find says they're a vampire clan in Murkmire, and are led by an Argonian priestess. I'm not sure if or how that connects to the Exiled Sun-Eaters of Numaneh.
