I am Gorgakh, of Falcrenth Hold, Skyrim Province. I wished to reach out to the elderscrolls community in order to gauge interest in a potential project that I am recruiting for.
This project is The Marukhati Collective Project (TMC), a Youtube channel that I hoping to organise. However, to do so, the help of the community is needed, as we are all greater than the sum of our parts. Thus, we are looking for lorebeards, content creators, content editors, and content sharers to populate the channel and manage the production and dissemination of content. See below for the opportunities that members of the community can contribute to:
‘Lorebeard Lectures’ (LL) Lore Series –
Much like a lecture series in real life, the LL series consists of Lorebeards lecturing on their specialist subject within a defined theme (e.g. ‘Nords’). For example, in the above example, one lorebeard could discourse about the effect of the Dragon Cult on ancient Nordic Architecture, while another could discuss the effect of the Great War on Skyrim. It would also be interesting if lectures could include debates between scholars upon different theories and arguments for a specific matter.
‘Let’s Roleplay’ (LR) Gameplay Series –
Unlike common gameplays and lets-plays on the platform, the crux of this series places a premium on players creating content for the most part from the perspective of their in-game characters.
‘Divine Intervention’ (DI) Theology and Divinity Series –
This series would focus upon the creation of content with content creators discussing, from the perspective of their in-game characters, the impact – or lack of – religion and worship in their lives, including acts of divine intervention, religious conversion, redemption, daily rites, etc.
