How would you feel if the Dwemer came back, assuming their fall from grace stays a mystery? The dwemer's collapse probably won't be interesting if it's revealed, IMO. Maybe one or two dwemer cities held out for all this time, and they lost their own history in a struggle for survival. That's just one idea though.


Personally, I'd be interested, but aware that this plot point could be horribly mishandled.

I think the only way we'll ever see the Dwemer "come back" would be if a game were to take place in the time before their disappearance. And then there'd be no reference to their disappearance, since it hadn't happened yet.
