I was disappointed to find that, even with the patch, certain NPCs still won't wear the armour I want them to wear.

Specifically the ones who favour heavy armour and thus will not wear the super-duper (but light) armour I keep trying to give them. Minor thing, but...grrr.

Well, Followers who don't behave exactly as you wish aren't really a "bug". That's their AI at work, and I think we should be rejoicing that they possess some individuality and rudimentary decision-making abilities. The game would be mighty dreadful if Followers were simply 100% compliant drones.

Maybe it happened in an older patch but did they mess with the value system? I made some improved gear cause with 1.9 I buffed the heck out of my alchemy. I was replacing this gear and noticed my older gear was worth more gold. It was identical in every way except the enchantments were stronger but the item was worth less. Weird.

That's an issue that has been in the game since version 1.0. The stronger the enchantment, the lower its value. Doesn't make sense at all, but that's the way it's always been.

Really? I never noticed it before. Not that it matter i got like 511k and nothing to spend it on but it's still weird. Oh and since downloading 1.9 my loading screens are freezing up alot. Anyone else having that?

Me, ive been getting them enough that im saving my game every 10 minutes just about.

Has anyone been getting AI freezing? I fought some giants earlier, and they just stood there looking at me not moving. I was on flat ground within easy walking distance from them but they didnt attack. Also, i had a dragon land on a word wall mid fight and completely freeze. His model wouldnt move at all, he didnt attack, and he couldnt die (but he would make sounds from taking damage)

I can't say I've had Loading Screen freezes since 1.9, but I'm experiencing moderately frequent freezes during ordinary gameplay in outdoor cells. And Random Encounters have been getting a bit weird since 1.9. For example, I had the encounter with those three fake "Soldiers", and a three-man Imperial patrol spawned at the same location at the same time. The Imperials knelt down to inspect one of the naked corpses, and then simply vanished.

I have gotten both of these scenarios.

About a week ago, a green Blood Dragon landed on a word wall, his AI froze in the middle of an animation for a shout - When I got his health down to 0, he still just sat there.
I fixed it by fast traveling away and then back again. (he flies around with zero health, lands and then instantly dies)

The overlapping random encounters happens every now and then. I've had bandits AND necromancers chase me. :S

I really should start recording some of these moments, since I always play with FRAPS on as my framerate counter.

Ive had this happen too. I found a Vigilant vs Atronach, Bandit patrol, and the dead bandit with a horse event all spawn in the same spot at the same time. Bandits and the Vigilant took out the Atronach, then the bandits turned on the Vigilant and myself, while the horse charged in to our defense. It was a very confusing battle.

me too; i was outside a bandit fort and they had just started attacking me with a couple charging whilst bows flew from the battlements, then an imperial troop appeared out of no where and attacked the camp and finally Plautis Carvain and his wife plus bodyguards spawned IN the fight, so through general confusion i had to kill an Imperial troop, 2 bodyguards and 2 Carvains, plus the bandits. Confusing but my guy is low level so i was kind of chuffed i was last man standing

Just wondering: does anyone know if one of the last patches made certain npcs immortal? I noticed Onmund won't die at all and I haven't made him essential via the console. My character even went all out trying to kill him (I was curious to see if he would at all) and he stayed solid. I don't remember this ever being the case before.

I really have no idea. They maybe did for some quests, like Onmund's (which you probably did), but I couldn't tell you. I would try making a new save and trying to kill him on it, to make sure there isn't anything messing with him other than the patch.

You sure you don't have the Companion's Insight buff from DB? It makes followers never take damage from you.

1.9? No, haven't noticed any unusual crashes outside Solstheim or the Rift.
