Hunters Treehouse, a modded player home in a tree on the hill between Riverwood and Honningbrew Meadery. I like to use it in early game as it's conveniently located and not OP - it has a bed, a cooking spit, storing containers and some minor treasure, but no crafting facilities or anything fancy. There's also a chest with an enchanted steel sword which can be very useful at low levels, but you have to fight a pack of wolves to obtain the key to that.

I like the shot with Corin and Horse galloping through the winter night. Also the one on Bard's Leap Summit, great perspective!

Just one new shot from me - Marilyn enjoying the view from her temporary home:

I've tried that one, but it wouldn't quite co-operate :') Now I kinda settled for console commands

Thanks!

Great shot btw, really love the view

A redguard thief I made yesterday. Her name's Reshora, and she's a bit of damaged one. Aside from the thieves guild, girl has not much future. Has a lot of trouble reading, no magical aptitude and no real education. Kind of Corin's opposite:

And Corin has, of course, also been up to a lot again, with his trusted companions Serana and Horse (who really seems to have a flair for dramatics).

Wow, lots of action there! Nice pics. Helene looks competent and confident. What's up with Rathal's mane though (I suppose that's the horse's name)? It shines as though it would glow in the dark!

Speaking of dark, I did a test run around Skyrim today after upgrading from Pure Water/Weather to Purity and stopped at this:

Light and Darkness

EDIT: Actually, this picture is the result of a modder's cardinal sin, i.e. running two weather mods at the same time  . I had tested ELFX's weather module before and, I shudder to admit it, forgot to uninstall it before installing Purity (seriously, children, don't try this at home!) - so what you see there is ELFX weather's sunglare playing with Purity's rock textures. Still looks pretty sweet, I must say, and if I had any idea of how weather in Skyrim works I'd totally try to make a compatibility patchfor the two. Since I don't, I'll have to make up my mind. :|

Got tired of my test character... Switched back to Vulom.

Watching the Chaos An Imperial patrol with a Stormcloak prisoner was stupid enough to wander through Ivarstead...

My own little Dirty Dozen Magnificent Seven Fantastic Four five characters. From left to right is Maxmylan Soran, enchanting thief; Talma, a Nord (formerly a Breton in previous plays) hedge witch specializing in fire; Casandra Serein, former vampire and full-time assassin; Victor, a Redguard legionairre who was disgraced for a crime he did not commit and works to restore his name; and Tihm gro-Nilap. He likes magic. And big weapons to make the bad people squishy.

They've been gathered by the Jarl of Whiterun to combat a menace none alone could defeat. Now, they must learn to work together in order to kill Superma-- wait, wrong story. Forget that. They're just looking for fun.

If you have a character you like, you can save them for future games by typing 'spf' in the console (Save Player Face). This will create a file with an '.npc' extension you can use in the Creation Kit to overwrite one of the Preset characters of their race.

This way your characters will show up as one of the default starting faces you can select at the start of a new game-- or whenever you use the 'showracemenu' like I did to create this lineup.

Four of the five in this pic are clones: Max is the real one. You can create a temporary clone of your current character with the 'player.placeatme 7' command. I created a clone of one character, dressed them up with the console, used 'showracemenu' to change my current character into a new one using one of my saved preset faces, then made a second clone who looks like the new character. Rinse and repeat.

I can imagine one might think 'why not just make a selection instead of posting such a wall of screens?'. I did. I did make a selection. This is the selection. This is about a fraction of all the screens made in the last few weeks. Oopsie.

How do you all get pictures taken at all different angles? I know you can do that console command where the camera can go anywhere, but your pics seem to look more fancy. And there's all the action shots from a third person perspective? I like them a lot.

(Great quality pics there, Dikke!)

I use the 'TFC 1' command. The camera can go anywhere, but the game is also paused, which allows me to take shots mid-battle (though plenty are just pure luck, when I snap the screenie at the right time during one of those close-up scenes the game does on it's own) , and things like that. I also significantly slow down the camera's speed with 'sucsm [camera speed number, usually 3 or 4 for me]', because otherwise it feels like it's on drugs.

And thank you! : D

Just a general question for those that regularly take screen shots of their characters. Where can I obtain the best lighting to take a shot of my character?

^I like to take character shots next to a fire or torch to highlight their features. Also any place where there's a strong, bright source of light - for example the bridge leading from Calcelmo's working place towards Nchuand-Zel where it's hit by daylight from the skylight, or under the skylight in the Ragged Flago Cistern. Castle Dour and the Emperor's Tower have a few spot with nice natural lighting too. It kind of depends on how you wish to represent your characters - for example I once made a shot with the character standing above a source of light, resulting in her face in shadows but softly lit from below, which made a kind of moody impression. Experimentation is your friend.

Yeah, same for me. Fire really makes for great lighting. For daylight I prefer late morning or afternoon to get the best lighting for the characters.

The tavern with the best interior lighting is the Stumbling Sabrecat at Fort Dunstad. Other taverns have rather harsh illumination from above that casts shadows in all the wrong places.

Nice to see some piccies again.

Where are you standing in the 'All of the Reach' photo, Finn? Is it that Bard's Leap place (or something like that)?

Something like that. It's Dead Crone Rock; facing the entrance to the tower you can see the spot on your left. It's reached through a wooden door on the first floor, there's a large urn and a chest outside and a quiver of arrows at the end of the walkway where Caoimhe is standing.

A few more, while I'm at it:

Portrait of Caoimhe
Yet Another Fair Morning at Dushnik Yal
...And a Fair Evening, Too
Praying to the Old Gods
A Peaceful Day at the Forsworn Camp
(Since somebody's bound to ask, the skull helmets are from http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/79189 ).

Pretty much the reaction my new Nord warrior queen should have when she learns that becoming a Circle member requires a great deal of shaving after every full moon.
