I've added a bunch of modded dungeons into the games, so I've been enjoying some new and very well made dungeons. On the flip-side, I don't know what to expect, so I've ran into mobs I just get ganged up on and die in a spectacular fashion.

Last one I was in had the audacity to push me through a gauntlet with two Bandit Chiefs as my reward. It was a frustrating fight with not-so-worth-it loot....

Today I decided to take a break from Dragon Age II to play a bit of Skyrim, as it's been a while. Freya, my Khajiit Guildmaster, continued on her quest to collect all of the Stones of Barenziah. I've gathered 16 of them so far, though it's getting kind of hard because I can't always remember which ones I've already got. Today I spent quite a while wandering around the Blue Palace before coming to the conclusion that I'd already taken the stone. Probably should have gone about collecting them in a more organized fashion, but oh well. Too late now.

It happens. I always find myself having to do donuts around Skyrim looking for that last Stone. No matter how well I keep track of which ones I've found. And the last Stone is always, without fail, in the very last place I check.

Got whooped at Bloodborne. Will I ever learn this game?

Feeling like playing some Skyrim again after a long while, I made a Breton named Caoimhe (pronounced Keeva), meant to be a witch at first but growing more into a spellsword (or rather spellaxe, in her case); also a werewolf. Using Skyrim Unbound, I started her as a Forsworn at Red Eagle Redoubt, which will serve as her home base. She won't do any of the major quest lines, cities being off limits to her as hold guards will attack her on sight, but she may end up doing some Daedric stuff and whatever else comes her way. In the meantime I'm enjoying playing her as an outlaw in the wild - exploring, surviving, travelling light, looting only what she needs, her only chance at trade being the Orc strongholds whose denizens have made her Bloodkin, and killing Nords and other foreigners trespassing in the Reach. After visiting most of the Forsworn redoubts of the Reach she has just spent some time training with the coven at Hag's End in the north and is now on her way back south.

I've started messing around with the Daedric quests I can mess with. Since I got the achievement for getting 16 out of 15 of the artifacts, I can now mess with their plans, like turning in the dagger for coin, or killing the cannibals, so on and so forth. Kinda fun flipping of the Daedric Princes.

Caoimhe, Forsworn spellaxe*, discovered Ragnvald while foraging in the wilds and ran into two Draugr outside, one of them a Deathlord whose shouts flung her around like a wet rag. Finding herself outmatched, she ran for her life, right up the mountainside until the path ended in that unmarked little camp with a Hagraven just north of Markarth, and was awed when the hag almost contemptuously oneshot the Deathlord with a fireball, leaving Caoimhe to finish the weaker remaining Draugr. If you've ever wondered how the Forsworn cleared out all those ancient Nord ruins and towers where they've made their redoubts, that's how.

(*or how would you call a character who predominantly uses conjuration, alteration and destruction magic, complemented with alchemy, wears light armour and wields an axe in melee?)

Aetius Colovinus, Knight-Bachelor of the III Imperial Cavalry Wing, also known as the "Thundering Third", ripped victory out of the jaws of defeat today, when he drove back a Stormcloak assault on the Imperial Camp in the Rift.

Numerically superior by a factor of three and by attacking at dawn, the Stormcloaks were able to overwhelm many of the defenders. However, a late night patrol, escorted by Knight-Bachelor Aetius and his Foot Companion, Erik, came upon the scene and charged into the enemy's rear, shattering their momentum. The presence of Imperial Cavalry made quick work of the lighter troops first, and then carved into the heavier frontliners. Within the hour, the last of the rebels was cut down, and the wounded were being tended to. It was a hard fought morning, and the dawn rays fell on the mixed blood of races from all over Tamriel, but any day that begins with a Stormcloak defeat is sure to be a great one.

Mostly just making my way through a replay of my original, first character (a Breton mage). We just wrapped up talking to Septimus Signus and we're off to find an Elder Scroll, which means we also just joined the College of Winterhold. (I'm debating which one to finish first...those Arch-Mage robes sure do come in handy...)

I'm also trying to level her as quickly as possible to 14 (she's at 12 now) so we can get Sanguine Rose. I freaking love that staff.

Modded my game as hard as anyone unfortunate enough to own a PS4 could. Now I'm doing the Thieves Guild questline again to seduce Brynjolf; I installed the "Friendly Brynjolf" mod. Which means after four years of hopeless role-playing, that fiery red-head is gonna be mine!

Never experienced this before:

Reason #3218966 as to why Riften is THE place to live.

1) While Felina and Onmund were enjoying an evening on the docks, they overheard a conversation between Mjoll and Maven, where the former called the latter the b word that ends with witch. 0_0

2) When emptying out the Riften warehouse of it's bountiful goodies (aka, while Felina stuffed her satchel full of skooma and moonsugar), Onmund muttered something to her from behind. She turns around and he's shaking his head.

Glitches? Just...weird. This game never ceases to amaze me.

Well, I didn't do it today, but I thought I'd mention that I did finally get all of the Stones of Barenziah. It gives me a very satisfying feeling of completion, though I don't plan on ever doing it again. Once was enough.

Today I learned that the Embellished Robes (e84c4 on the console command) pairs well as a female 'civilian' outfit when using the Ancient Nord Gauntlets as a battle armor component.

I found that the Fur Gauntlets (of Stormcloak/Guards outfits) pairs with the Refined Tunic in the same way a long time ago, but I've only recently played a character who is willing to put up with the smell of Ancient Nord armor and was hurting for 'normal' clothes that'd fit the color palatte. It's just my luck that the perfect solution happened to be one of the 'unobtainable' clothes in the game.

All the congrats on doing that. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to, it's incredibly daunting. Kudos!

Felina cast a fury spell on Haelga and watched her get slaughtered by Onmund and whatever the niece's name is. She then woke up and realized that it was a dream. Sigh.

I disappear for a few years, come back and see that Dohva's hatred of Haelga is as strong as ever, lol. Some things never change.

Doing the Lost to the Ages side quest. On my way to Deep Folk Crossing. See a body in a small pond, it's a captive. No belongings on the body, 2 arrows in the water. I grab the arrows turn around, see a line of belongings on the bank. Clothes, an emerald silver necklace, boots and a journal. I read the journal, it's sad.......poor girl, her father will miss her........

Katja, a Companion and member of the Circle, finally managed to get revenge for Kodlak and cure both Kodlak's and her lycanthropy. She was nominated to be the next Harbinger, but she found that after all of the deception, she no longer believed the Companions as she once did, and so she took her leave.

Her wanderings got her as far as Riften when her gold ran out, where a man named Brynjolf offered her decent pay for an easy job.

Trying to clear up my misc quest section.
Taking some frost salts to Dravynea then I'll go to Stonehill Bluff to kill the Giant.

I deleted all of my saves forever. Felina has retired with Onmund and their children to Lakeview Manor, quit the Brotherhood, and given her life to Akatosh. She has repented of her wicked ways and will spend the rest of her days mixing potions and reaping the rewards of her hard work. May she live in gladness until the end of time.

Wow Dovah. As in " Completely done playing Skyrim" deleted all my saves? Or as in "Woot! Now I can make a ton of new characters and run around Skyrim!" deleted all my saves?

You know, that's almost as depressing as Bob Dylan seeing the light and turning evangelical back in '78... (But also strangely reminiscent of my plans for the end of Marilyn's arc, if I could ever have been bothered to write it. How did Felina deal with the Wrath of Sithis?)

I lent Skyrim to a friend today...and with it, my heart and soul. Thankfully I still have Morrowind, Oblivion and ESO: Morrowind.

It WAS completely over (meaning, no more Skyrim). But then I wrote a novel about an assassin inspired by the Dark Brotherhood and everything has changed. Felina has been restored.

I literally cannot stay away from this game.
