Ran across an ice mage and fire mage fighting. Nothing unusual about that, until the Ice mage told the fire mage he'd burn. I guess it was just a friendly reminder about the dangers of wielding fire magic. :P

When in Tel Mithryn the micologist asks you to bring some ingredients, and you can just pick them up around her room. She cheerfully thanks you, I felt a strange feeling doing this. :sweetroll:

Mods sure can "spice up" the carriage ride to Helgen...

I picked the vanilla start yet again, and this time one of my encounter mods decided to spawn a trio of crossbow-wielding (using SkyRe) Stormcloaks next to the road. Needless to say, a battle ensued.
Hadvar and even Tullius dismounted and attacked the rebels. One of the Stormcloaks managed to shoot the Imperial driving our carriage, but the horse just kept on going.

The gate to Helgen never opened (presumably due to Tullius' absence), and the Imps in the town were running around in combat mode. Both carriages became stuck and I had to reload.

I revisited Bleak Falls Barrow today with my recently turned Bosmer vampire to collect some venomous spittle from the respawning giant frostbite spider (which she needs to craft a Blood-Conserving Phial) and at the same time farm some blood from the bandits outside. I had just cleared the Old Watchtower and looted the chest on the top when, coming out of the tower, I observed a figure in some distance whom I took to be a hunter or something because they didn't show any interest in me. A few seconds later the figure was gone, and so was the steel plate armour on one of the dead bandits which I'd deemed too heavy to loot; apparently the hunter-or-whatever-they-were appreciated it better. First time I'd ever seen a non-follower NPC loot a corpse.

Another nice moment was when my current follower, a Dark Brotherhood witch (from the Dawnstar Sanctuary mod) whom I'd turned into a vampire with AFT, cast Vampire Seduction on a bandit. I love it when NPCs do clever things on their own accord.

By playing Stormcloak side, killed Legate Rikke, and cinematic kill was played - cuting her head off. After that, she was still alive, and I had to hit headless Rikke for few minutes, to make her dead. LOL

Stumbled into Riften to find a trio of Stormcloak soldiers talking it up in the middle of town. The guy doing the talking was looking down on two comrades who were standing in the well at the center of the market.

I've seen his happen a couple of times, 3 tholmor's are walking with a prisoner, when all of a sudden they are being attack, the prisoner breaks out of his cuff's, helps attack the attackers, then when finished, comes back over to have the cuff's put back on.

Traveling the road between Falkreath and the Rift, I came across three Legionaries with a prisoner walking in the direction of the Falkreath Hold Stormie camp. I was curious to see what the prisoner was going to do in this situation. At first contact with a Stormcloak sentry the Imperials fought the prisoner, made short work of him, then engaged the Stormcloaks (who subsequently wiped out the Imperials).

I guess that prisoner will aid his captors against anyone except other Stormcloaks.

I misread a moon phase message, and thanks to that ended in a pretty bad situation.

The previous evening I had been turned into a werewolf by Sanies Lupinus (which my character didn't know she had; hadn't even fought any werewolves... but they're not the only carriers).
The following day, in the final zone of Bthardamz I briefly activated my time and date config to check what time it was. To my horror I saw the moon phase indicator pictures showing a full moon! I must have read "waning gibbous" instead of "waxing gibbous" in the previous day's 8pm moon phase message.

I started going through the dungeon as quickly as I could... but didn't make it to the boss. Nope, I ran into a damn Centurion just as my involuntary transformation began. :x

Deciding it would be suicidal to attempt to take on a Centurion - let alone the dungeon boss - in unperked werewolf form, I decided to backtrack and eat all the Afflicted instead. Couldn't even revert form because it was a lunar transformation.

^Lunar transformations are fun! I once had one hit me in the middle of some ancient Nord crypt or the other - a whole dungeon and nary an edible corpse, just draugr ("foully tasting", as Eola remarks); no idea how I made it.

My current (modded) follower, Flemeth the witch, is wont to summon a Wizard Shade in combat (think of the things in Meridia's quest) who summons atronachs in turn and raises the odd zombie. During a quite banal fight with some horkers on the north coast of Haafingar one of the Shade and his Storm Atronach must have accidentally hit the other, and so the fight ended with the summon and the summon's summon locked in a duel to mutual annihilation with the rest of our little troop watching with raised eyebrows.

Are these moon phase transformations from a mod? I've never involuntarily turned at a full moon before.

Yes, that's from a mod. I guess Chadonraz is probably using Moonlight Tales, while I used its predecessor, Tales of Lycanthropy (by the same author). Both add configurable lunar transformations.

Yes, using Moonlight Tales.

Back when I played on the 360, I sometimes kept the Cursed Ring of Hircine just so there'd be at least one downside to being a werewolf.

I'm at the Riften stables, ordering the carriage driver to take me to Dawnstar. "Climb in back and we'll be off." he says. I move to the back of the carriage and begin to climb in...

...a Fugitive comes running up to me and hands me an enchanted weapon. "Here. Take this and hold on to it. I'll mai—" and then the loading screen comes up.

Ah, well. He did want me to keep it away from the man he stole it from, after all.

I enter Dayspring Canyon for the first time (with this character).
"A furious snowstorm draws near." <-- Frostfall's Weathersense message

I exit Fort Dawnguard after getting my first assignment, and discover that the snowstorm has gone. Happy about this sudden change in the weather, I can't help wondering what happened to the storm.

The game does read your thoughts. As in, "I'll just move on down the road to that road sign and do a Save."

It has been too long since I have posted about this... but recently:
Ursula went to Belathor's General Store to look for a book he could have but did not. Behind the counter a potato was jumping up and down. You could see it then it disappeared I walked around to verify, yes it is a potato.

This picture I took of a day out hunting reminded me of a"caught a big one" fishing picture:
Ursula and follower/husband Vorstag, killed a snowy sabercat. When it died it landed face in the ground and butt in the air. I positioned Vorstag behind it and it looked like a guy holding up his catch. It's a picture on my phone I sent to my brother the last time he sent me a pic of a trout he really caught.

It read my thoughts tonight, with the summons from the Greybeards. My current character is used to blending in. So after dealing with Mirmulnir, I was thinking: Ok, she's got to get out of Whiterun now, go somewhere she won't be known as-
"DOVAHKIIN!"

The game gods were toying with me, I know it, when I tried to do the vampire-hunting quest in Morthal.

I waited inside the inn until the late afternoon, then walked out to play hide-and-seek with the creepy little girl.

*distant roar*

Oh, great. That's just what I needed right now: An Ancient Dragon dropping by to attack Morthal. But he didn't attack the town at first. The dragon's attention was focused on something atop a nearby hill for several minutes before he finally came our way. I slay the dragon then proceed on my vampire quest... except there's no vampire to ambush me. Guess who the dragon was playing with before he played with me?

Reload.

*distant roar*

Screw the dragon: I'm going vampire-hunting. I run out to that hill to slay her. She's down and out for the count. But because I sought out the vampire before her scheduled ambush, the creepy little girl refuses to come out and play (and advance the next stage of the quest). The dragon doesn't even get to Morthal before I hit the Start button to bring up the game menu.

Reload.

*distant roar*

Rather than go out to that hillside, I wait well until the evening before leaving the inn and let her come to me at the graveside. Killed the vampire, talked to the creepy dead girl, and then the vampire's husband comes running up to express his horror at seeing his missing wife as one of the living dead (and not-so-living anymore). Then comes the dragon, and the husband now has something even bigger to be horrified about. Yeah, it killed him in the ensuing fight.

This is beginning to irk me.

Reload.

*distant roar*

Lock and load, Mouseketeers! This time the gloves are coming off and I am going to tear a swath through anything and everything so I can get this damned quest done and ove—

*distant roar*
*distant roar*

Wait. :wat: There are two dragons this time? Seriously!?

I hate Morthal.

It has been a while since I had a new character go with Ralof after Helgen and I had almost forgotten how kindly his sister treats the PC ^_^ (not that Hadvar's family doesn't) I guess I'm just a sucker for NPC's being all warm and kind, but that conversation with her standing in the afternoon sun and Ralof sitting on that treestump had something heartwarming after the adrenaline-inducing events in Helgen.

I have to share this. This is my whole day in Skyrim. It's a little sad for me...

So I've only ever played one character for more than a day, and that character is now level 85 and I have basically completed every quest there is besides a few miscellaneous quests and the annoying dark brotherhood and thieves guild repetitive quests after you finish the questlines

So I return to my house in Hjaalmarch to find out that my wife Ysolda was kidnapped

At first I went to rescue her, then I went back to my house, but was a bit worried when she never returned and I thought I had done something wrong, so I reloaded

Problem is that my last save was quite a while before. I had recently obtained the master destruction spells, and I had to go back and do that quest again

Anyway, I went back to my house, wife was kidnapped again, rescued her, and tried to follow her home, but she glitched like halfway there and stopped moving, so I went on with my day thinking maybe I wouldn't have to hear "Hello my love, back from some adventure I bet" ever again. Didn't really bother me

Then (I had been planning this for awhile), I decided I would use the fortify restoration cheat to enchant a set of daedric armor, some weapons, necklace and ring to basically make my character invincible. I have the highest enchanting perk, so I acquired a new set of daeric armor, gave virtually infinite health, stamina, magicka, carry weight, sneaking ability, pickpocketing ability, lockpicking ability, haggling ability, one handed, two handed, archery, smithing, and waterbreathing to this new set of armor along with an enchanted daedric mace that absorbed about 500000 points of health and magicka as if I needed it.

So with this new set of armor, I could one shot anything, never die, sneak around anyone, pick any lock without trying, pickpocket mostly anything, carry as much as I wanted at risk of lag, buy and sell anything for the same price, breathe under water etc. I basically just beat the game once and for all

I went to Solstheim to clear some of my perk trees and use them on more useful perks

I went on a quest to find Rjorn's Drum, did so with ease, and instead of going back to my house to store my findings and see if my wife was there, I went exploring the area south-southwest of Falkreath

I reached what acted like the end of the world. There was a large mountainous border but at the base of the mountains was some flattish randomly generated territory. However, I climbed the mountains somewhat easily and kept travelling. I began to realize that there would not be any sort of border like "You can not go this way." After I went on, the snow from the mountain disappeared and I found myself walking along a massive, seemingly never-ending brown plane with hills. It was clear that the area was not designed to be walked on.

After maybe 20 minutes of running along the plane, I finally found the end. There was a corner of the brown plane where you could not proceed forward. Well, if you did, you fell, fell through the false ground under the brown plane, and into a never ending (I assumed) ocean. I checked my position on the map and found that my arrow was not on the map, no matter how much I turned the map. So I dropped into the ocean and swam down. I thought the depth would never end but eventually there was another flat brown plane at the bottom. Now, if you swim back in the direction you came, you will find yourself falling back onto the original brown plane, if that makes any sense.

I swam back, landed on the brown plane, and decided that it was time. Regardless of the fact that I had unfinished business, a missing wife, stuff in my inventory that wasn't stored, and Rjorn's drum, I took off my helmet of waterbreathing, my armor of infinite health, saved, and jumped into the water, sacrificing my body to the land of Skyrim

And with that, it is likely that I hung my armor up, and may retire from a long, wonderful experience of my first TES game, and all the memories I had with it.

Now you have to do everything again, but this time backwards and in high heels.

I'm not sure if this is common But I started a new game this morning and at the tower part where alduin makes roast pork with that dude I simply pushed him away and alduin did no damage. I never saw him again though.

I've heard tell that Torolf, the Nord that gets roasted as the little boy runs towards you and Hadvar (after you jump down to in burning inn) can be saved that way as well. The trick is, it's implied that Torolf is the boy's father. Yet you'll still find that boy lodged in Froki's shack afterwards, orphaned because he lost his parents at Helgen.

Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.

Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.
