Ok, so i want to understand something.
I am level 29.
Heavy armor: 56
Smitting :52
I have a set of plate armor. All improved to superior. With the perks i have the total armor rating of the set when worn is 260.
112, 42, 42, 54 is the armor of each individual item that adds up to 250, but my armor rating is 260.
I have improved the chest armor to exquisite and now it is 122 (it was 112 superior). If i wear the exquisite one, my armor rating is still 260, and this time it adds up, but when i wear the superior steel plate chest, which is 112, my total armor is still 260. Why is that?
I am sorry if this is confusing, I am sure i could have formulate it better, but you get the idea, all superior items wore => 260 armor (if you add them up it should be 250), the exquisite chest armor + the 3 superior boots, gauntles, helmet => still 260 armor
I guess that's my question.
