I know a topic like this was made before, last November, and it was closed and we were told to use the "Skyrim Short Stories" thread, but I think there should be a seperate thread because the "Skyrim Short Stories" is more of actual stories told from character's or a narrative perspective like, "I thrusted by sword then drank a bowl of stew!" kinda thing rather than just a discussion on what you accomplished, where you went, what quest you're doing, what skill you just got to 100, which housecarl you just Fus Ro Dah'd off a cliff, etc.

But, if not, that's fine. The Tom said,

Well, it's been nearly a year, so I think it's okay for this topic to be made.

So, just in case this doesn't get closed,
Right now, I'm trying to complete the "Lost to the Ages" Quest, added by Dawnguard, I just got done building all three houses in the Hearthfire expansion, got that achievement. Before I continued with the quest I decided to move all my alchemy ingredients from the Arch-Mages Quarters to my Alchemy Tower in the house I built, Windstad Manor. When I got to the College of Winterhold a Revered Dragon was attacking, when I killed it, it had a Daedric Armor in it, which I thought was pretty weird. Man, if you get Hearthfire you're gonna need ALOT of iron, I mean, I had to got all around Skyrim to every smith AND deplete all the veins in Fort Fellhammer to build all three houses.

My horse has been acting weird lately, every time I fast travel, in appears with me, but it starts walking off, except in Labyrinthian, then it just walks in circles around the middle, maybe it was trying to show me the Bromjunaar Sanctuary, which I can't believe I've never discovered until now, I never even heard of it. I mean, I've seen that thing that holds all the Dragon Priest masks during the loading screens and it says something about the Labyrinthian, but I never knew where that actually was, until now. I always was looking for a place to put all my Dragon Priest masks, and it turns out I'm missing one, Nahkriin. I looked it up and it's the one you get from the Main Quest, so I have no idea how I don't have it. It's dark blue, and I think I remember having it, but I don't remember where it is. Hopefully it will eventually turn up.

Last night I spent my time finding building materials and a steward, I ended up with some guy from Morthal apparently I'm his Thane (next time I play through I must stop killing so many followers) and finished building my house then I moved all my stuff in. I surveyed my new home then climbed to the top of my tower and sat down in the chair and watched the sunset. Sadly it is the end of the adventures for my current characters (until the next DLC comes out).

I bought a plot of land in Morthal, recruited my new Morthal Housecarl for a bit, and began building on my new plot of land. Went home to Falkreath, gave my daughter's some dolls, then headed off to Riften to buy Iron from every shop keeper there, including the ones in the Ragged Flagon. Oh, and I hunted some deer in the Morthal swamps while traveling to my new land.

Overall, pretty uneventful day.

Regained the Pale for General Tulius, and got promoted. The next few seconds went like this:

"Here, take this blade as a symbol of your new rank."

'Dwarven Shield added'

Me:"....wat"

What a coincidence, I just took back the Pale for Ulfric Stormcloak, and actually got a sword. Smaall(done for sarcastic emphasis) World.

I ran around Falkreath doing a few minor quests while I tried to decide where to build my new home on my Thief/Assassin character. I eventually gave up and thought I'd finally start a heavy armour character that will be allied with the Empire, but I can't decide on a race. Not very eventful today, like most days

I say an Imperial would be your best choice.

Yeah I was thinking Imperial, but High Elf was also an option. I want one that can be quite muscular because i want to look really intimidating in my Heavy Imperial Armour with that closed face helmet. I'm probably just going to end up screwing around in the character creation menu for three hours before I finally choose one.

Lets see...my elf explored some Dwarven ruins and roamed around the hills of the Reach like a wildchild. And my Imperial made jewelery. :D

I realized I had a backlog of 1489038920839201 misc. quests and grabbed my husbando Onmund to clear 'em out.

I'm a terrible completionist and want to get things finished before I further the Alduin/Civil War quests :p Folks need their Finely Cut Void-Salts and missing books before the world goes to hell and all :'D

I can just see the look on your DB face... *should have joined the stormcloaks...* running through their head.

I quickly ran through an old Draugr Tomb after work... I needed a fix man!

Today I completed the "Lost to the Ages" quest and I decided to make the shield, although the enchantment wasn't really as great as I thought it was going to be.
I think the Aetherium Forge is the only place with lava in Skyrim, I saw a rock in the middle of it, and tried to Whirlwind Sprint on to it, but I overshot it and burned to death rather quickly.

I killed the "bear eating a mammoth" bear. He didn't stand a chance.

Today, I filled the bookshelf in Lakeview home with spell books. I consider them important for my children's education.

My Altmer had the pleasure of dropping in on a Winterhold college lecture today, done by Phinis Gestor on the Eye of Magnus: "Any and all theories about the Eye are open, if you are interested please speak with Mirabelle." That had me cracking up the way he sounded so "scholastic". With the glowing orb behind him. Heeelarious.

I got 100 enchanting on my Khajiit mage.... And can't enchant anything good on anything due to the game limiting what you can enchant on certain pieces of armour.

I ran through all the dungeons that aren't connected to any questlines, joined the Companions and completed the Companions questline, fought two Dragons at Dragontooth Crater, fought three Dragons in Falkreath, accidentally shot a Falkreath Guard while taking screenshots and then murdered them all, ran to Whiterun and got attacked by an unusually angry Vilkas (he must have been friends with those Falkreath Guards), hung out with the Guild in the Cistern, and then became a Vampire.

All in a days work for Maar "Dur" Staadnau.

Finally got my Breton battlemage at 100 Destruction (guess who forgot to read the Oghma Infinium?) and completed the Dectruction Magic Ritual. Fighting dragons has never been easier when you're kamehameha-ing the absolute -life- out of them >:3c

Finished 'Lost to the Ages' and was spoiled for choice at what to make at the forge-- settled for the staff because for all the grief those spiders gave me, the least they could do is valiantly fight for me.

Still clearing out the misc. quests boohoohoo

I wandered from my base at the college in Winterhold to Windhelm. On the way I came across a NPC called peddlar. Unfortunately, he was dead killed by a group of bandits he got four but the fifth got him, I killed the last bandit and looted all six bodies, (the peddlar had a random inventory with some really nice items in plus a horse) and continued my journey to Windhelm where I got in a fist fight with another Nord over his racist attitude.

With the help of some mods, I created a Skyrim-ized version of Merida from Brave. Her preferred attack method is stealth/archery, and if she's detected she uses conjuration to summon a bear. It's the most fun I've had with this game in a while.

Today, I completed the exterior of my third house.

Following that, I recruited Serana for a bit of vampire hunting at Haemar's Shame. Following that, we returned to Fort Dawnguard, where Florentius informed me that my wife had been kidnapped by vampires. Again. I really wish I could figure out how these vampires keep kidnapping her. I'm married to Mjoll the Lioness. She's only one of the toughest warriors in the game, armed with a Dragonbone Battleaxe I forged for her, though she doesn't wear her Daedric Armor when we're not adventuring together. And at my home of Lakeview Manor, she's constantly surrounded by my new housecarl, Rayya and my Steward Annekke Crag-Jumper. Ofcourse, that still doesn't beat the first time she was kidnapped by vampires, while she was with me in Fort Dawnguard, surrounded by a small army of vampire hunters, hounds and armored trolls. Seriously, how are these vampires turning Mjoll into Princess Peach?

Only thing I can think of is that her stalker, er, manservant Aerin still isn't over the fact that she married someone else and keeps helping them get the drop on her, hoping that maybe this time the vampire will be able to kill me and he'll have another shot at her. I really must instruct my Housecarls to beat him more often.

So, anyway, I rescued my wife from Hobs Fall Cave. Most enemies fell quickly to my Dragonbone Bow and Arrows. Not how I usually play this character, but Sneak and Archery are amoung the few skills I haven't mastered with my original character. Aerin survived the cave inspite his stalking tendencies taking him to a place where he should die in seconds. Which gives more evidense to the notion that he was in on it. Definitely need to get on the housecarls about those beatings. Then, on arriving home, found my house under assault by a Legendary Dragon. Which is good, I've got alot of weapon racks that will be needing Dragonbone weapons to display on them. And all is well with my family once again.

Sounds like you need to hand out some pink slips at your home. Someone is obviously not doing their job here. :|
