So. I went back to Skyrim, decided to start anew...my last character grew far too powerful and it got boring. I've decded to try mage oriented character, but magic is rather underwhelming in vanilla. I'm not looking for something big or owerpowered, rather more balanced small....nothing like Apocalypse pack with over 150 spells.

The main requirements are to be not overpowered or overwhelming quantity, but should include (or as a separate mod) some kind of improved light spell-at least longer duration than Candlelight's 60 secs, but tweaks to intensity and range are also welcome.

What I am going to do personally is not mess with the balancing system and see how it goes. By that I mean installing perkus maximus or something of the sort that messes with the game balancing. I never played Skyrim without these mods, but I expect at least a fun time since this game was made by a big experienced studio.
