How many people here use it? I am having an issue with creating ingots from ores.

Are you using a smelter?

Yes. I see the recipes for ingot made from weapons and armor, but not from ore. When I first started playing using the mod, I was able to make some iron and silver ingots from ores, and I was going to make some steel until I saw that recipe had been changed from iron and corundum to iron and charcoal. Now that I have the charcoal and iron ore in my inventory and the option to make ingots of steel won't show up. I searched the list of ingots that I could make and could not find any recipes that were made from ore, just the reverse crafted ingots.

Ok, so apparently the normal steel recipe was altered to require iron ingots instead of ores, and it won't show up until I have iron ingots and charcoal in my inventory (I'm presuming since I already had the charcoal in my inventory when I tested this).
