Having used both steam and the nexus for modding "old" Skyrim extensively, is Bethesda.net a useful tool or is it better to stick with what I know when it comes to altering Special Ed. Playing about with it a bit, it just seems overly complex and probably for console players use. Im just curious because I dunno if problems will arise trying to sort load orders and files if both modding platforms collide or something?

LOOT still works, to my knowledge. I haven't had any issue with Bethesda's in house system though, and failing everything else, you can still adjust it manually.

I'm not personally a fan of Bethesda's modding website myself, but for entirely different reasons, I feel. I mean, if it was solely for the consoles, sure. But the PC community grew without them having much mod involvement, so it seems odd to have Big Brother Bethesda in the picture now. I thin kit may not necessarily be a good thing for the future of our modding community, if they want to take more control over the scene. But if the website's system merely exists to foster in-game mod downloads for consoles and less tech-savvy PC players, then good for them for providing that platform.

Yeah having played with it it's nit for me tbh. Far as I'm aware it's subject to the same issues many have in regards to other people taking credit for hard work and effort copying Mods and the likes. Unfortunate that's it's all that's available on console SSE though. Think I'll defo just stick with nexus, steam, Loot and the like. Also wow late reply much sorry
