Status: No SSE until SKSE
UESPoints: 0
Many mods have multiple esps but in some cases, I've disabled some of them and only kept others. Do the disabled esps count towards the 255 limit? Thanks.

isn't limit smaller if you install dlc? it should be 252 or less if with all dlc

Is it? I had no idea. Good to know, thanks. Sill, my question remains, even more so. On Mod Organizer they're still numbered even though they're deactivated, which is why I'm unsure.

UESPoints: 0
the 255 limit counts all active plugins and master files, so if you have all DLCs, it's only 247 (255-skyrim.esm-update.esm-3xDLC-3xHighResulutionTextures). I have heard something about a maximum of deactivated mods, but I can't verify it, and if it exists, it's much higher.
