I am trying to find the refID for an NPC in Midwood Isle so I can use it in player.moveto. However I do not know the refID, and the value returned for NPC_ in Help is not the correct value. Does anyone know how to get the refID by Name or translate what Help returns in the NPC_ field into the correct format ?
Tx

go to that npc , open console, click on it, you will see ref id , now close console, save game, open console again, do NOT click anything , type in: getav health . if it shows 0 then you did not selected npc (maybe there was something between you and npc) , if it shows not 0 then type openactorcontainer 1 , and look at items and name if they are correct then you have selected correct ref id.
all this because selecting correct entities with mouse in console can be tricky.
