Hello,

Sometimes, when I go on the Wiki, pages display weirdly.
I would like to put a screenshot so you can see what I mean but I'm "not authorized to post non-Elder Scrolls URL links" and UESP forum don't seem to host pictures.

Whatever, I don't like it like that so I refresh the page; sometimes it works, sometimes not. Is there a way that pages automatically display "normally"?

Thanks for your help and forgive me if my english is not very good.

Hi there, and welcome to the forum! (And your English is fine! :) )

The reason that you haven't been able to post links or pictures on the forum is because new members do not immediately have permissions for that: we do this to help prevent bots from spamming the forum. Since I see that you're an actual human and not a bot, I have added you to the Confirmed Users group, which means you will now be able to post links and images, send private messages, and add an avatar and signature to your account.

Does the page look white when it does that? If so, that's a known issue; it sends people to the mobile version of the site sometimes. We're still trying to figure out what causes it, but if you put "en.uesp.net" in the URL instead of just "uesp.net", that seems to help prevent it from happening.

A thought/suggestion for the mods: Should this issue be merged into a single thread with a suitably informative title and stickied? No less than 5 of the first 10 (non-stickied) threads in this forum are regarding this issue (this thread, this thread, this thread, this thread, and this thread.) It just seems rather useless and wasteful to me to have piles of different threads all on the same topic; it just ends up scattering the information all over the place.

(And for the record, I'm on a desktop and this issue occurs regularly, even when the page url is prefaced with en.uesp.net.)

Oh, good idea; I'll do that when I've got a bit more time.
