Hi, just wondering why the random page button has stopped working, I like to view a page every time skyrim goes to the loading screen on PS3. I'm on an iPad, so that could be why, but it was working a couple of weeks ago.

I presume you are not logged in. It doesn't work properly if you're logged out.

I was just about to comment on this. It's not working for me either.

Make sure you're logged in when you try to use it.

So the random page button only works if you are logged in to the wiki? Curious...couldn't that be a neat feature for guests?

Its to stop lots and lots of people being able to flick through lots of wiki pages quickly, its essentially been done to reduce server load. Since when the revisit the first page they got, they just load it out of their browser cache. And an anon's browser cache lasts a lot longer than a logged-in users browser cache.

There is way to get it working without logging in. You just have to disable your web history I think. I can't really remember what you're supposed to do. But it is possible.

I had thought it was a caching issue, rather than a feature.

I'm sure its been noted and pointed out to Daveh and Nephele many times over the past year or so, they seemed to already no that it happened so it might be a feature.
