Just asking if we can start up a similar thread here. And a related question: do you do the same thing to allow screenshots in Morrowind as in Oblivion? If not, what DO you do?

Use Fraps.

That was a good advice. I've had Fraps earlier, but forgotten all about it. Officially you enable screenshots by changing Morrowind.ini line

Screen Shot Enable=0

> into

Screen Shot Enable=1

For some reason it didn't work for me in my earlier installation... the it started to work... now, with a new installation, it won't work. But Fraps works.

One opinion I want to bring forth: when you make screenshots and publish them, please do the necessary corrections. Mostly they seem to end up too dark, and correcting that is very easy. Myself, I use Paint.NET, a free software.

So, just what is this thread about? :) I'm a photographer by profession, but what's the point here?

Think of it as something else to have fun with, It may not have the best graphics but every place in this game looks different so I think this is a good idea.

I'll post tonight when I get a chance to play.

I think I would have started this myself sooner or later :D I think I can conjure up some good pics.

Also, changing the .ini file is not enough if you have MGE installed, you have to do something else too which I can't remember right now... but I'll look if anyone wants me to.

I would appreciate that, very much. In MGE \ Morrowind.ini, my "Allow screenshots" is greyed. No need to do any extensive work, Caz, as Fraps is working.

:D But if you want to make me happy, why not? :D

I had the same problem trying to get screenies in MGE. I checked online and found out that you can set up a macro in MGE for screenies.

Open MGE and on the Input tab, click Launch Macro Editor. Then choose a key (I picked F11 as it suggested that Print Screen would put errors up). Then in the drop down section on the bottom left, Set Macro Type to "Function" and Function to "Screen Shot". It saves the files right into the base Morrowind directory as MGEScreenshot #. In MGE you can also choose to have them set as jpeg, bmp or whatever :)

Hope that helps!

Ok, Chibimala, it seems to work. In case it stops doing it, I'll send my fiery arrows towards you. :)

I know, that horker pic is pretty much my favorite pic of all time. It wasn't actually attacking me, I was just walking along side it and it decided to eat me >.>

Actually it is an easter egg put into the game:

There is a spawn site which makes the creatures there end up like 3x as big or something,

Spoiler:
it's in the North-West of the Grazelands if you want to check it out.

Lol. Funny. Where exactly is that respawn point? I have done some thorough Grazeland sploring in files past, but never have i seen anything like that. Is there a land mark or some other that would serve as a marker point?

Yeah it is rather hidden, but I was lucky to come across it yesterday. Here's a link to easter eggs in-game, scroll down to 'Huge Creatures' to see the location.

Norroen Dyrd, Nice screenshots. I like the underwarter one and Mournhold one the best, keep it up. Scozzar, this is different, this has nothing to do with your character. You can take a picture of your character for that one and take photos of the land and funny stuff for this one.
