I think I may know the answer to this question, but I'd like to double check, and I'm having a hard time finding an answer elsewhere.

Is there any reason to have more than 4 of the same cards? It seems like 3 is the maximum I can have a deck. It also seems like decks do not remove cards from your collection, but simply prepare them in a load out (for example, I wouldn't need 6 of the same card to build 2 decks with 3 cards each; simply having 3 of those cards is fine). Is this accurate?

Also, if I click on the "Soul Trap all of your extra cards" button, will I lose all but one of each card?

There's no reason to have more than three copies of each card, and that's the exact reason the Soul Trap all your extra cards button exists: It automatically converts all copies of a card save three into soul gems. The only thing it does not take into account is when you have premium cards, so after Soul Trap all your extra cards you will have up to three regular ones and up to three premium ones.

Thank you very much. I assumed, but was hesitant to get rid of cards in case I could use them some other way, and was afraid of that Soul Trap button in case it wiped out ALL duplicates. Thanks again.

There's a "soul trap all extras" button? I haven't seen this yet! That would save me so much time! :o

The only reason you might not choose to soul trap your extra cards has to do with balance changes. If they apply a nerf to a card, then you can soul trap it for a limited time for the normal purchase price, instead of the much lower sell price. So, some people hold on to extras of cards that seem like they are a bit overpowered, just in case.

It's not a major concern, and you'll be just fine to go ahead and do it, but it's food for thought!

Yeah, when you're looking at your cards, down at the bottom right there's the soul sight button, the one that lets you see ALL cards, even the ones you don't have yet. When you click on that, an option appears next to it that looks like 3 cards with an arrow. That's the one. It brings up a dialogue box to allow you to sell your dupes.
