Hello. I have following bug with the Deepscorn Hollow quest.

Rowley Eardwulf doesn't have any upgrades. He does sell some other crap, but no upgrades.

1. Yes, I have the unofficial patch and the unofficial DLC patches
2. Yes, I tried to talk to him both when he was at the table eating and when he was sitting on stairs
3. Yes, I made sure all stages of the quest triggered. Yes, I tried the setstage DLCDeepscorn 20 console command anyway to make tripple sure
4. Yes, I tried the Vile Lair DLC - Tweaks and Fixes mod on top of the unofficial patches.

Guys, please help, I'm heckin' desperate!

No, I don't run any mod manager.
None of the mods I have interact with this quest (except for ones mentioned), but here's the list anyway

Also, a disclaimer: I don't have computer smarts, so please bare with me ;-;

TL;DR: The issue was caused by weird load order

Battlehorn Castle DLC experienced pretty much the same bug, which lead me to believe the problem was more global. Turned out it was caused by a really weird default load order (unofficial patches were loading before the dlcs). So I had to download Oblivion Mod Manager and fix that.

The topic can be closed. Though please don't delete it, in case someone has a similar issue and googles for the solution.

I've come across the same issue before. I just turned off the unofficial Vile Lair patch and it worked perfectly.
