no I was using the ^ to point out that I had already given some trivia.

tell me if I'm right - the dark brotherhood emerged when daedra worship was banned and the morag tong decidied to abandon their worship of mephala in order to stay legal. the dark brothers never forgave the tong for this and continues to worship mephala as the night mother.

I don't know, I read it somewhere. can't remember where though. I'm probably wrong.
