While looking for mods to my game, I came across this site. It seems to have tons of mods to use, however it's owned by Gamespy, and I have to pay to sign up, apparently. Is there another resource similar to said site?

Cool, although I have a new problem. Anytime I try to use mods, my game goes nuts on me! I follow the instructions on the read-me, so I don't think I'm screwing things up, but it still happens. Only the BetterBodies and BetterClothes seem to not ruin my game.

If you load a mod that edits a cell, an you have allready visited that cell or an adjacent cell in your current save, the modifications from the mod might not appear, and if you load mods that change the same cell, some pretty weird stuff can happen.
I suggest you try loading one mod at a time.
