Sorry very noob at all this

Is it possible (and how do you) add new bound type spells, as the lack of a summoned staff for my altmer is a bit annoying as the mace just doesnt fit you know ?

Welcome to the UESP forums! It's possible that someone will come along and help you on this matte, but I can't say for sure. If noone sees this maybe we can try the regular morrowind forum.

Sorry, but I know little to nothing about modding.

Easy! Just ask us or any of the other ppl on here for help and we will help to the extent of our knowledge!

Anyway, If you have the CS (Construction Set) you can make a new spell with the ( EXTRA Summon 1-10) and you can set whatever creature, item or armor, or npc, you want, and it will be summoned... So just click the Items bar in the CS and click weapons, click staffs, and then left click, press new, and create your staff... then add an enchantment to it by going to the Spells bar click, enchantments, then click new, name your enchant ment whatever you want, just be sure it is easy to pick out... like SummonBoundStaff01 or something. and then go back to the staff you created, then click in the box that has your staff info in it, and there should
be a little scroll down menu, that is called enchant, or something ( I don't have the CS on this Comp) and click the enchantment you made... click ok. Then, go to the side of the CS and click Spells again and create a new spell, right click, name your spell whatever you want, then go to the white grid box and right click. click new, then add your Bound Staff effect to it, then save your spell...

then to the very top of your CS and there should be a little click button that has a big Q on it, click it... The box you opened is the game Quests box. Ok, right click in the white portion of the box that has all these funny names in it, and click new, name a new quest like BoundStaffGameStart or something... and then press enter.

Yay your first quest... ok, now there should this little box somewhere in the middle of your selected quest box that has three little ...'s after it, click it.

In the box that comes up, go to the upper right hand corner of the box, and click the box that has something in it like Object, Quest or spell in it.

Set it to Quest

and type in the white portion (just copy and paste this to it)

Scn BoundStaff

short doonce

Begin gamemode

if ( doonce == 0 )

player.addspell XXXXXXX
Stopquest (whatever your ACTUAL name of your quest was)
set doonce to 1

endif

end

(put the ACTUAL name of the spell where XXXXXXX... there is and actual name, and an In game name. the actual name comes first. put that in where XXXXXXX is.)

then save the script and save your first mod!! yay for you!

Name the mod whatever, and you can upload it anywhere if you want... or just keep it secret lol...

anyway, thanks for reading!

(btw click this http://www.elderscrolls.com/downloads/u ... lities.htm to get the CS... btw if you want to continue modding... I suggest you get the TES4BSA bsa extractor, to get the textures and meshes and everything from the oblivion .bsa files... use the extracted files for textures (textures are like coverings that make something visible in Oblivion without them everything would be invisible... Meshes are the physical shapes of various things...)

God speed!
