Bloodskal Barrow is a burial ground on the northern border of the Hirstaang Forest, north-north-west of Raven Rock. ^[edit]

The barrow is built into a large hill that should be easily noticed by keen sighted players. If you still can't find the hill, find the Earth Stone and look to the north-east, you may also pass by the hill if you are traveling to the Cave of Hidden Music.

So, what makes the tomb so special? Well, if you are hoping for a substantial amount of gold, you will be disappointed. But this is no reason to simply turn and leave. Inside, quickly unsheathe your weapon and dispatch the few Draugr inside. At this point keep your weapon out and stay on guard.

On the altar in the middle of the room you will find the sword Bloodskal, for which the tomb is named. When you pick up the innocent-looking sword, you find that you are not alone anymore and several Draugr appear behind you in ambush. Be careful no to get swarmed; long-ranged and magic-based attacks are not recommended in such a small, confined area.
