Gronn is a system of ice caves located southwest of Lake Fjalding on the Isinfier Plains.
Gronn possibly contains the largest amount of berserkers in Solstheim. Close to a dozen berserkers call the caves of Gronn home, including the supposed leader of them all: the Berserker Denmother.
Gronn contains various items of minor value, a large amount of mead and the unique Helmet of Bearkind, which is found on the Denmother's body.
[edit] Notes
- Due to the unfortunate habit of running around half naked, most berserkers in the cave do not carry much on themselves.
- Be prepared to carry a relatively high quality lockpick for some of the wooden chests in the cave. Even those with a high security level should be prepared to carry several lockpicks in case one breaks on the first wooden chest.
- The berserkers themselves are chosen at random (apart from the Denmother), so one player could possibly go in with a dagger (this is not recommended though, as it will make a horrible mess), while another player could go in with a blade like Trueflame and still meet a fair bit of resistance.
