Dark Brotherhood
Opening Hours 24/7

The Dark Brotherhood is a guild of assassins shrouded in shadow and mystery. The Brotherhood can be found all over Tamriel and, although their business is certainly not legal, they are almost universally tolerated (out of intimidation, rather than respect). Whenever an individual with legal authority takes an interest in their dealings, the Brotherhood relies upon a combination of bribery, blackmail, coercion, and murder to keep their activities hidden. They were once connected to the Morag Tong, but since their split in the Second Era the two groups have become bitter rivals. The Brotherhood is also known for their worship of Sithis.

For general information about the Dark Brotherhood, see the Lore article.

To join the Dark Brotherhood in Daggerfall, you must kill at least three innocent citizens or fifteen town guards. The Dark Brotherhood's quests are usually standard assassinations, the execution of freelancing assassins and their employers or the execution of former members of the Brotherhood that failed their task.
