Long Blade governs the ability to hit a target with broadswords, longswords, sabers, katanas, claymores, and dai-katanas, adding skill % to hit chance. Contrary to the descriptions found in-game and in the game manual, Long Blade does not increase damage inflicted upon a target. Your Long Blade skill is automatically checked whenever you attack an opponent using a broadsword, longsword, saber, katana, claymore, or dai-katana.

Long Blade's governing attribute is Agility.
