Daggerfall:Lord Kain

Lord Kain is the younger brother of Baron Shrike, the current ruler of Lainlyn. He is determined to end his brother's authoritarian rule over Lainlyn, in case of need, even by force. For this purpose he founded the knight order The Host of the True Horn, which is commanded by Lord Harth. Whether this knight order is a match for Lainlyn's regular knightly order The Host of the Horn, which is devoted only to Baron Shrike, remains to be seen.

• It is not known whether he exists as actual person in the game, but he is one of the many political factions that exist.
• Lord Kain's original name was Lord Khane, which is still evident in the games Reputation Database. But already in the in-game text he was named Lord Kain. Whether this was on purpose or an error made by Bethesda is unknown.
• He is the same Lord Kain who appears in Battlehorn Castle, a quest of the official Oblivion plug-in, Fighter's Stronghold.
