Temples
Opening Hours 24/7

There are eight different Temples in the Iliac Bay, each devoted to one of the Eight Divines of Tamriel. Only one temple may be joined in Daggerfall since patch 1.04.191, but once one joins, the player can find many benefits offered. From healing to Daedra Summoning, Temples have much to offer. Some of the higher benefits can only be used by members who have a high reputation and rank in the temple. The service to cure ones diseases is available even to non-members, provided one has the required amount of gold.

Each Temple commands a knightly order, which can be considered as the military arm of the individual Temple. One can join either the Temple devoted to the deity or its knightly order, but not both. These knight orders count as Temples not as Knight Orders. The services that such an order provides are identical to the ones of the associated Temple. Members of Templar Orders may also use the services at the associated Temple and vice versa.

* Magic Item merchants of The School of Julianos also sell Soul Gems at Rank 4, although it was probably not intended. This could be, because Magic Item Merchants of Julianos and The Mages Guild share the same in-game resource for their service. And Magic Item Merchants of The Mages Guild sell Soul Gems regularly to members once they acquire Rank 4.
