[edit] Quick Walkthrough
- Talk to a Merchant or an Innkeeper.
- Head to the town your employer points you to.
- Find the cousin and talk to her.
- Head to the town the cousin points you to.
- Find the healer there and buy a talisman.
- Head back to the cousin and give her the talisman.
- Collect your reward.
- Alternatively you can ask for rumors after accepting the quest. Ask until you hear something about the whereabouts of a healer, who might cure the cousin. Travel to her and get the talisman. In that way you can avoid catching the disease in the first place.
- Be sure to follow the time limit.

Merchant/Innkeeper:
Excuse me, are you a doctor or have any healing abilities? I really need someone that can heal my cousin.

Merchant/Innkeeper goes on:
Thank you, thank you! My name is (questgiver's name). I recently received word that my cousin (cousin's name) of (town) is deathly ill and will probably die in (time limit) days! Whatever you can do to cure her will be greatly appreciated. Here is (random gold) gold. I will pay you 20 gold more if you can heal her.

Upon accepting the quest your employer will give you a small advance payment. Travel to the town he mentioned and ask around in town until someone points you to the cousin's residence. Enter the house and talk to her. She will tell you of a healer in another town who might have a cure for her disease. In talking to the cousin, you will also become infected by the disease Chrondiasis. So you may wish to get yourself cured before you go on with the quest; a visit to a local temple, a spell, or a potion will be sufficient. Travel to the town the cousin mentioned to you and find the healer, an alchemist, by asking around. He/she will sell you a talisman to heal the cousin for 20 gold. You could also use this talisman to cure your own disease, but since it can be used only once, it will disappear after use. Travel back to the cousin and give her the talisman. She will thank you for saving her life and will reward you with 20 gold, the cost for the talisman.

Upon giving the cousin the talisman she says:
Oh, you've brought me the healing Talisman! Thank you, (player's name). Here is the rest of the gold that my cousin promised you. I really can't thank you enough. I hope the rest of your travels are safe for you.

- The little advance you get from the questgiver goes directly into your inventory and is not given to you via a menu-screen. To add this pay permanently to your wallet, you must drop it to the ground or into your wagon first and then pick it up from there again. Picking up the gold directly from your inventory will cause the reward to vanish permanently.
