Niyya

Niyya is a Redguard sorceress who can be found in the prison of Highpoint Tower. She is being held prisoner by Ildari Sarothril. She wears some ragged robes.

Once you free her, she'll approach you and say, "Thank you for rescuing me. That witch was going to kill me soon, I just know it." You can now ask her about Ildari, to which she'll say, "We were digging in these mines when she found us. She was hurt so bad. We took pity on her and nursed her back to health. She repaid our kindness by attacking us in the middle of the night. Those of us that didn't die were made prisoners." When you ask what she did to the prisoners, she'll say, "Horrible things. Experiments...and worse. I'm the last one. The others are all dead now. If you find her, don't make her end quick." You can then ask her where she will go now, to which she'll say, "First I'm going to leave this place, as fast as I can. Then I'm going to get on the first boat to the mainland. Good luck to you."

Despite what she says, she will then head to The Retching Netch and stay there for the rest of the game. After being freed, she may say, "Thank you for rescuing me from High Point tower." or "I still have nightmares about what Ildari did to my friends." If you want her to live, you may have to escort her past the reavers at Brodir Grove after you clear the Tower.

• If the falling boulders trap in the tower has been triggered, Niyya's pathfinding may cause her to run into any standing debris left over from it, which will result in her death.
