When Can They Be Dropped?
- I Have the very same question, folks. Don't want to use console command. Also, did I get this right - Epistolary Acumen is destroyed/vanishes after Storn had red it? Never checked his body after quest...188.8.131.52 06:37, 11 February 2013 (GMT)
- Epistolary Acumen is still on Storn's body after he dies. You have to loot it pretty much right away if you want to keep it though. The Black Books seem to keep their status as quest items permanently and cannot be removed from your inventory. You can't even sell them to Neloth, who you would expect to be interested in them. --Morrolan (talk) 19:50, 21 February 2013 (GMT)
- The cleanup script for Storn's corpse (DLC2_QF_DLC2MQ04_020179DE : Fragment 48) moves his inventory to Frea (at some point during the following quest), who in turn has a greeting override if she's stuck holding the black book, so if you're missing the book, go back and talk to her. As for being perma-quest items, I think it's (in part) to prevent the player from locking themselves out of an area (by dropping the book 'inside' itself).Earthfiredrake (talk) 08:16, 10 April 2013 (GMT)
What is with the godawful font and text size on this page? Looking at source it seems to be auto done from others, sadly i'm not fluent in wiki to understand where or why it looks like this but it needs fixing. Killerchronic (talk) 02:31, 27 April 2013 (GMT)
At the moment a single book has its powers described, the rest of them only the contents. I suppose, that it could be best to have all powers displayed here, as it is the Dragonborn specific version of the page, where the lore edition already has the contents and only the contents of the books. — Unsigned comment by Giltintur (talk • contribs) at 08:58 on 13 April 2014 (GMT)
