Area where you can use it[edit]

Can you only use this shout outdoors or can it be used indoors too? - Chez talkemail 06:47, 11 January 2013 (GMT)

Cyclone can be used indoors . --Adam W. — Unsigned comment by 98.157.24.218 (talk) at 11:39 on 19 January 2013
It's a great alternative to Unrelenting Force, because it flips its targets up in the air and spins them around rather than just knocking them back. It takes longer for something like a Draugr Deathlord to get up off the floor than it does for it to recover its balance. Once or twice I've succeeded in getting the target jammed upside down behind some architectural feature, which leaves it utterly helpless. 174.6.51.17 01:16, 10 March 2013 (GMT)

Impressive[edit]

I only have the first two words, but when I used it on an Ancient Dragon in flight, it took off half its health and brought it to the ground. I don't know whether I was just lucky or whether it really is that strong. 174.6.51.17 01:15, 10 March 2013 (GMT)

Typo in the Word Wall[edit]

I was just translating the first word wall of this shout in the game to practice my Dragon Language skills, and I came to the wiki in order to compare my translation... but it appears that the wall for "Ven" here is incorrect. The word "VULARUM" should be "VULGRUM". The error is not only in the translation, but in the actual dragon characters that are put there by the template. I would fix it myself if I knew how to edit the letters that are in the dragon template. If proof is required that it is indeed "Vulgrum" and not "Vularum", I have screenshots that show the word "MALTiiD" right beneath "VULGRUM". You can clearly see that the character in the game used for the A in "MALTiiD" is different from the character used between the L and R of "VULGRUM". ...Or, of course, you can always go and find the word wall yourself. XD If someone would edit that for me (or tell me how to edit it), it'd be much appreciated. Hylia (talk) 05:01, 3 January 2014 (GMT)

question[edit]

A question i'm left asking far too many times about spells and shouts...

Does this also do damage to allied NPC? If you call down Cyclone to protect a town from a Dawnguard spawned vampire attack, will it kill guards and villagers? If called down in the defense/assault of Whiterun, will it kill allies? — Unsigned comment by 134.184.101.177 (talk) at 07:12 on 2 April 2014

I used it messing about in Raven Rock and hit 4 people, knocking off half health on all of them, so it definitely harms allies. I hope this answers your question. 86.157.63.20 23:01, 6 July 2014 (GMT)

Translation for Gaar and Nos[edit]

I have the Translation, but I am a new user and I don't know how to. (I'll admit, I am a bit nervous, I fear for messing the page up.)

here are the the translations for Gaar and Nos:

"Noble Nord, remember these words Of the Hoar-Father: (a) warrior fights his inner evil, but (a) king unleashes them on his enemy"

"This stone commemorates Hrodmir the Broken who Spent all (of) his Years and Fortune to strike down (the) murderer of his brother."

Unless it comes from an authorised source it can't be used (i.e. no guesses no matter how accurate they seem). Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 21:54, 19 June 2014 (GMT)

Damage stats for each level?[edit]

Does anyone know the damage each level of Cyclone inflicts? I've been doing some testing, and it seems that the first word does 50, the second does 75, and the third does 100. Can anyone confirm this? FrozenWolf150 (talk) 19:37, 4 August 2015 (UTC)

I've gone ahead and added the damage stats to the description. I've also added a couple of tips under the Notes section. Although I tried to make sure to test these before making the edits, if anyone finds an error please feel free to correct it.FrozenWolf150 (talk) 04:40, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
